The Radiant Sun Shards is a 4-star bomb.
A solid chunk of solar-charged Luminite with an explosive surprise inside. Devilites hate surprises.
The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as a range found from the first to last floor of each stratum.

This bomb was radically altered in the August 8th 2012 update. The previous version exploded with eight "bullets" that traveled 12 tiles in the eight cardinal directions. A monster standing on top of the detonating bomb would catch all eight "bullets" for huge damage. It was very popular and frequently used to 1-hit kill Trojans. Wolvers would instinctively dodge the "bullets" as if they were fired from a gun. The alchemy path of this bomb was also changed during this update.
