Usage

To tag a page as a redirect from an "empty" file name to an existing file.

It should only be used for:

  • Files that have been deleted, but linking should remain intact from external sources. Users coming to the file from an external link leading to the page on this wiki will be directed to an appropriately named version of the out-of-date file instead of a blank, deleted page.
  • Files that would be large (filesize wise) duplicates of existing files. This method is mostly used for "big" News images. It is not used for small files such as accessory icons.
