Alright you crazy Knights! Get ready to get even more CRAZY! Karaoke Night is coming to Spiral Knights, and it's us, The Resistance who's gonna rock the house! We've held one Karaoke Night, but that was held in secret ;). Our first Karaoke Night was a great success and everyone who participated is STILL WANTING TO SING! So, to all those other shy members in the guild, we welcome you to join us for our Official Guild Karaoke Night! All you have do is find one of our Officers, and they'll give you the address to our chatroom privately; Via Tell. (Please keep in mind that this is a private chatroom and should only remain within the guild)

So be prepared! Who ever joins us in our chat room MUST SING! So choose your songs and lets ROCK!

Hey there Resistances Members!!!! We of the Resistance will beholding yet ANOTHER, Karaoke Night! This is a, what would you call, practice session for our upcoming competition 'Resistance Idol' at the end of the month on Saturday, April 28th, 2012! So come join us and sing your heart out! You can sing any song you like, and yes Lyrabelaqua, even the Banana Song...

If you'd like to come join us and practice, your singing skills before the big competition, then contact one of our active Officers, or send a message to Shuichi <via mail, if you send her a message, she will return your mail fee, that is if its a message about Karaoke Night or Resistance Idol.> Not only that but she will give you the location of our chat room via mail. To those first timers who will also be joining us, it will also be a nice chance to get to know all your other fellow knights who will be attending the competition!

*There will be no prizes given away, this is just a fun little get together that you're all welcome to join!*

Welcome all, to Resistance (Guild)’s first ever: RESISTANCE IDOL

Resistance Idol is a new Guild Fun Activity where recruits/members/officers will battle it out in a singing contest. Each member will sing one song, (rules on songs will be later explained below), top singer will be our first ever Resistance Idol and will win a grand prize of 200,000 crowns, and will also be awarded an Officer Position! Not only that, but the second place winner will also win an Officer Position! We will have three judges. Each of the judges will listen to the contestant’s songs and judge appropriately. At the end of all the singing, the judges will then vote on the best singer. Best singer gets 200,000 crowns and everyone else who sang will receive 10,000 crowns for participating. (Crowns will be awarded after the competition; reasons why is to make sure everyone participates and doesn’t run off.)

If you are interested in competing in our little Idol contest, please send a message to Shuichi via mail. In this message, please leave your knight's name and the song you will be singing.

THE RULES

• You must be in the Guild Hall and sing on stage when your name is called. Whoever is not performing and stands on the stage will be disqualified, and will not recieve a participation prize (this is your first and last warning.) Those that arrive late to the Guild Hall will still be eligible to sing that is as long as we're still singing. (That is if we're still doing Resistance Idol)
• You must sing a FULL song. (The song must be a minimum of 3 minutes, and you must complete your song.)
• You must also treat each contestant with respect, and no booing the person on stage. Anyone who boos will be disqualified.
• Must have a working microphone and join the rest of the guild mates in our special chat room we have created. (Those who join our chat room agree to the terms above and must sing.)

Here it is Resistance, are you ready for a new event that doesnt involve MICROPHONES?! Unlike all our other guild events we've had, this is actually quite different. What exactly do we mean this time? Well, we will be holding a Tournament. This means, that all you members of Resistance can sign up and be pitted against one another in the clockworks to claim who is the best in the Resistance. Hurry and sign up, spots are limited!!!!

Now, you all are probably asking how this is going to work, well, read below and you will find out!

NOTE: Do keep in mind, that you will be using your own energy to venture down into the clockworks, any reviving that you do will be at your own cost. You will not be reinbursed for the energy that you used.

Preliminary Round:

• Nine people will sign up and will split up into 3 different parties. Each party will have one Referee, the Referee's responsibility will be to watch over the party and keep track of points not only that but even be disruptive and try to kill the participants.

• The run will be held in Tier 3, starting at Depth 18, Emberlight Town of Gremlin Outcasts. All tiers are welcome to sign up, but do keep in mind spots are limited.

• Each participant will have a chance to win 300 CE each. Those who survive the Preliminary Round will then have a chance to win 500 CE in our Final Round and a special Shadow Lair run. [Key supplied from an unknown source.]

• All participants will start with a potential 300 CE prize.

• For each death you take you lose 100 CE from your 300 CE prize. When your prize CE reaches 0 CE you will be disqualified from the Tournament and will be awarded an honorary Ecto Drop as a consolation prize.

• Everyone must do their share of work, if the referee catches a party member hiding in a corner or empty room they will be docked 100 ce from their 300 CE prize.

• Players disqualified in the party may remain in the party or return to Haven. If the disqualified member remains, they can thwart the other contestants chance to claim their prize. It's okay, be a sore loser, take it out on the others!

• Tie Breaker: There will be those who succeed with a full 300 CE. So how we've determined our tie breaker will be with a Sudden Death Trivia Question. Each participant will be given Trivia Questions until they're answered wrong and only one remains. The victor will then move to the Final Round. *NOTE: Those in a tie breaker will still be awarded their CE prizes.*

• If you leave in the middle of a run, you will be automatically disqualified and will not recieve any sort of consolation prize.

Final Round:

• The winners from each party of the Preliminary Rounds will then move on to the Final Round which will be held in Shadow Lair. The Shadow Lair level chosen will be; Ultimate Firestorm Citadel.

• Same rules from the Preliminary Rounds will be used in the Final Round. This time instead of 300 CE, it will be a potential prize of 500 CE.

• There will be a final reward of 600 CE given to the participant with the highest remaining CE prize.

• Incase of a Tie Breaker, the prize of the 600 CE prize will then be split amongst the participants.
