This FAQ covers account issues related to logging in and being able to use the forums & wiki. For information on getting Spiral Knights running on your computer, see the technical issues FAQ, or for issues with billing, see the billing FAQ.

I’m unable to post on the forum or edit the wiki, what should I do?

This is probably because you haven’t validated the email on your account yet. If you requested a validation email, but haven’t received that email, you should first look in your spam mail folder to make sure it wasn't filtered. If it isn’t there, first add register@threerings.net to your address book to prevent the email from being filtered as spam; then you can use the re-send confirmation email page to send another confirmation email.

If have have validated the email address and are still unable to post on the forums, you may need to clear the cache on your web browser.

If your account was permanently banned, which you can see when trying to log into the game, then you won’t be able to post on the forum or edit the wiki.

I'm logged in, but it's telling me I can't post or that my session data was lost while trying to save an edit on the wiki, what should I do?

Try logging out and back in. Sometimes your login data needs to be reset because it has expired.

For wiki edits, you can also try clicking on the "Save" button a second time.

I forgot my username or password, what should I do?

If you have forgotten your username or password, Spiral Knights can let you know your username or help you reset your password. Go to the Forgot Username or Password page and use the appropriate section:

  • For a forgotten username, fill in the email address associated with the account to receive an email with your username.
  • For a forgotten password, fill in the username associated with the account and click on the "Send Email" button to receive instructions on how to reset your password at the associated email address.

What if I have a question or issue not covered by this FAQ?

You can create a new thread under the Technical Support forum to describe what sort of problems you have. Never post your password or email address in the forums.
