A harness is an item that can be equipped on a Battle Sprite. The harness controls whether the sprite inflicts normal, piercing, elemental, or shadow damage. The harness also reduces the cooldown period for sprite skills, by 0%, 5%, or 10%.

Every player obtains the Iron Harness when they acquire their first sprite. Different harnesses can be purchased from Riley in the Laboratory. The player must own the previous version of a harness before he can purchase the next version. For example, the player must buy a Golden Harness, then an Advanced Golden Harness, and then an Elite Golden Harness. The total cost of obtaining an Elite Golden Harness is 168,000 crowns. Harnesses are bound upon purchase.

When the player owns more than one sprite, their sprites share all of the purchased harnesses. There is no reason for a player to own multiple copies of the same Harness. To ensure that players don't buy duplicate harnesses, Riley only sells each Harness once to the player.

Certain sprites cannot equip certain harnesses.
