King Tinkinzar is said to be a great ruler and the mechanical genius who is responsible for the vision of the Clockworks. He is never seen by common gremlins, rather his orders are carried out by his fearsome Crimson Order, a zealous band of gremlins who alone share audience with the king. He is also known as the Architect, and an artifact retrieved from the shadow layer Ironclaw munitions factory implies that he may have had something to do with the creation of the swarm.
