Offenses:
Damage type(s) and Attack Speed influence combat. The attack style of the weapon in relation to the combat environment is also important. Consider both when choosing weapons to wield.

Boosts and Penalties are both considered "abilities" in general. Many items don't have any special abilities. See the Abilities page for details. Some enemies are immune to certain status conditions - see individual status pages for details.

The Magnus is a 3-star handgun.

Description

A large handgun with hard hitting rounds that can leave even the strongest of monsters dazed.

Attacks

Basic Attack

Fires a fast moving bullet that has a range of 8 squares, interrupts enemies, and has a chance to cause stun.
In addition, this gun has the ability to reliably knock down Gremlin Menders and smaller Wolvers (non-alpha versions) found within tiers 1 & 2.
The recoil from the gun will push back the user 1/3 of a square and the user may fire up to 2 shots before reloading.

  • Note: Having recoil means that the user will be momentarily unable to move when attacking.

Charge Attack

Fires a larger and somewhat slower (medium speed) bullet that can travel up to 10 squares.
The bullet has an 1 square radius area of effect so it might be a bit tricky to fire in between 2 stationary blocks.
The recoil from this attack is so great that the user is flung back 2 squares and knocked prone.

Below table shows the approximate charge time in milliseconds:

The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as the damage dealt on the first and last floor of each stratum.
