News
* I've made an ALT account named "Misty-Wellington" for the sole purpose of holding donated Crystal Energy for the Mist Well. When the accumulated amount of donated CE reaches 500 - the minimum needed to top it up - she'll top up the Mist Well. This is so that donations for the Mist Well can be spread out over multiple people to share the cost, rather than one person donating 500 all in one go. If you would like to donate CE, ask for Misty-Wellington. Happy Exploring guys!

* If you're going to donate materials to the Guild for other Guildies to use in Crafting, that's great! But please please please make sure they go in the Member/Veteran/Officer Storage, which can be found on the second page of the Guild Console in the Guild Hall, NOT the Guild Treasury. Once they go in the Treasury there's no way of taking them out by anyone or using them until we get a Hunter's Lodge.

* The man behind Ron-Star and Princess-Troll has sadly decided to leave Spiral Knights permanently, and has deleted both the accounts; neither of the accounts under those names exist in-game anymore. Good luck Simon, we wish you all the best!

***UPDATE
 +
Due to a general loss of interest in Spiral Knights, Tectonic has unfortunately more or less disbanded. The guild still exists, but there are very few members and the guild hall is currently in default. Thankfully, many of the notable members (including, but not limited to guild masters and officers) are still in contact with each other through Steam. If a common interest in a return to the game hits us, we will not hesitate to do everything we can to revitalize our member-base. Stay tuned!

Guild Introduction
+
Rules
*Originally, Ron-Star created Tectonic after being a member of other guilds and finding that they had an elitist attitude; if you didn't have all the best gear, you weren't welcome, so he created a Guild that welcomed all kinds of players.
+
As with any good sized Guild, Tectonic has a few simple rules we expect all Guildmembers to abide by;

How to join
+
-Respect your Guildmates. If you have a disagreement with another Guildy, keep it civil. If you must resort to noobcalling and flaming then at least try to keep it between yourselves and Whisper each other.
*Tectonic is open to anyone that can speak English and are frequent/daily players. Guildies should preferably have a friendly, helpful manner and enjoys the social aspect of Spiral Knights as much as simply "grinding" in the Clockworks. We also prefer if newer players have a minimum of a 2* gear set, although it's not a strict requirement. Thankfully it's not hard to get a 2 star set as it's quite cheap.
+

Oh and just like other Guilds, you can talk in the Guild chat by starting off your sentence with "/g " (Space included).
+
-Do not beg. You can ask for meager material donations or accept donations from generous Guildmembers who offer to you the items you need for Crafting, but generally we expect you to earn the monetary side of things yourself by running Missions and the Arcade. With Mist Energy gone, there's no excuse not to be self-sufficient.

Guild rules
+
-Swearing is allowed, but don't do it to excess.
*No begging or asking for loans of any kind. You can however ask to be tabbed to the next floor of a dungeon if you need it.
+

*Mild adult words are tolerated in the Guild chat, but no excessive swearing. Nobody likes to see that.
+
-Do not send "drive-by" party invites to every online Guildmember hoping someone will join - it can be seen as spammy and everyone who's already in a party will get annoyed with it. If you need help on a mission, ask for assistance in the Guild Channel first and only invite those who offer to help or respond to your request for help.

*Respect all members. Treat other members as you would like to be treated.
+
-Do not join a party that is far too advanced for your equipment level or Rank without the Leader's permission.
+
-Roomowners and Officers must not vandalise the Guild Hall.
*Speak English in the Guild channel. We have members from all over the world, but English is the acknowledged shared language in the Guild.
+
**This includes Textspeak. Please refrain from using Textspeak when talking in the Guild channel as it's hard to understand for those whose English isn't their native language.
+

*Members of a lower rank should only join higher ranked parties by invitation.

*If you need assistance with a mission, ask for help in the Guild Chat - "drive-by" invitations without asking for help tend to annoy players.
+
Violating any of these rules may result in a Strike against you.

*We have a Member, Veteran and Officer storage for storing materials to help other players. You are allowed to withdraw some mats for use in Alchemy or Monstrous Research missions, as that's what they're there for; but don't take the piss and take much more than necessary. Any thieves caught doing so will result in an immediate kick from the Guild, and we'll know as it's in the Guild Record.

Ranks and how to acquire them
Note: If you meet the equipment requirements to be promoted to a higher rank in the Guild, feel free to request a Loadout inspection from an Officer or Guild Master in the Guild Chat, or send an in-game mail to one if none are online. Please be sure that you have Full Inspect enabled.

About Tectonic

We are a Guild whose sole aim is to provide all its Guild members with the best social experience in the game that we can! We also provide assistance in missions as long as you ask for help. To ask for said help or to simply have a chat with your fellow Guild members in the Guild Channel, use the /g command. To find out more, visit our site: http://www.tectonic.shivtr.com/

      • UPDATE

Due to a general loss of interest in Spiral Knights, Tectonic has unfortunately more or less disbanded. The guild still exists, but there are very few members and the guild hall is currently in default. Thankfully, many of the notable members (including, but not limited to guild masters and officers) are still in contact with each other through Steam. If a common interest in a return to the game hits us, we will not hesitate to do everything we can to revitalize our member-base. Stay tuned!

Rules

As with any good sized Guild, Tectonic has a few simple rules we expect all Guildmembers to abide by;

-Respect your Guildmates. If you have a disagreement with another Guildy, keep it civil. If you must resort to noobcalling and flaming then at least try to keep it between yourselves and Whisper each other.

-Swearing is allowed, but don't do it to excess.

-Do not join a party that is far too advanced for your equipment level or Rank without the Leader's permission. -Roomowners and Officers must not vandalise the Guild Hall.

Violating any of these rules may result in a Strike against you.

Other reasons to be removed from the guild

-Being inactive for 28 days (4 weeks) and have not told us you are unable to play Spiral Knights for any reason.

-Wracking up 3 strikes in a short amount of time.
