Invalid Digest File or Unexpected End of File From Server

This usually happens when a few key text files fail to download, this method is used to acquire the files manually. Before following these steps try updating the game again with any security software temporarily disabled first.

Right-click these links and select save link target. Save the file in the Spiral Knights folder, overwriting the existing ones.


Spiral Knights folder locations are as follows:

  • Web Client - C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\LocalLow\spiral
  • Downloadable Client - User specified location
  • Steam Client - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\spiral knights


Now open the file "version.txt" in your spiral Knights folder and replace the number with "20110914145055".

At this point try launching the game.
