=Surge Prize Box Promotion=

During the Surge Prize Box Promotion, players will receive a "prize box" gift with purchases of $9.95 or more made between 10:00 AM PDT on September 12th, 2012 and 10:00 AM PDT on September 24th, 2012. This promotion is open to players using the qualifying payment method they prefer (including credit card, PayPal, and PayByCash). You can be certain that your purchase qualifies if a [[File:Surge_wiki.png]] shows up next to your chosen package on the [https://billing.spiralknights.com/billing/ billing page] when you go to make your purchase.

Your prize box will be redeemable on any one character associated with your account. After making a qualifying purchase, your prize boxes should be delivered to you via an in-game mail from ''Spiral HQ''. If you made your qualifying purchase while logged in to the game, you may need to log out and back on again for it to appear. All items found inside a Surge Prize Box are delivered unbound.  Available prize box items include...

* Blue-and-red-colored Surge Accessories and Costume Items such as the brand new Flak Jacket and Draped Armor styles.
* New Hacked Aura Accessory
* Confetti Usable Item
* 1, 2 and 3 Variant Tickets
* Trinket Slot and Weapon Slot Upgrades
* Krogmo Coin Boosters
* 2-Day Heat Amplifiers

===About Prize Boxes===

Prize Boxes are a special type of in-game Lockbox item that do not require a Silver Key to open. Prize Boxes can contain more than one item. Prize Boxes are stored in the Usable tab of your character's Arsenal, and can be opened by right-clicking them and selecting the "Open" option.

==Promotion Details==

* Purchase must be made between 10:00 AM PDT on September 24th, 2012 and 10:00 AM PDT on September 24th, 2012 to be eligible.
* Each purchase of $9.95 or greater is eligible. Smaller purchases cannot be combined to meet this limit.
* Special packages, such as the Explorer Pack, are eligible for the promotion, provided that their cost exceeds the $9.95 minimum.
* Purchasing an energy package larger than $9.95 will earn you multiple prize boxes, at the rate of 1 prize box for every $9.95 spent. 

===PayPal===

* It is important to note that some PayPal payment options can take several days to clear. All purchases must clear during the promotion period for them to be eligible for prize boxes. If the payment clears after the promotion period, you will not receive a prize box. Bank transfers and eChecks are the most common form of "delayed" payment.

===Checks & Money Orders===

* Checks and Money Order purchases must be received before the last day of the promotion, 10:00 AM PDT on September 24th, 2012, in order to be eligible for a prize box. Please note that we cannot accept checks or money orders from outside the U.S.

==Collecting Your Prize Box==

Your prize boxes will be delivered to you via an in-game mail from "Spiral HQ".

==Prize Box Distribution and Value==

All eligible purchases will receive a prize box containing at least one (1) bonus item, but the distribution is arbitrary, regardless of the amount of the transaction or the frequency with which purchases are made. The probability of receiving a specific item is always the same, regardless of how many purchases you make during the promotional period.

The distribution of probabilities for the bonus items included within Surge Prize Boxes will be as follows:

* 25% - 1, 2 and 3 Variant Tickets
* 25% - One Surge Accessory:
Surge Side Blade, Surge Wings, Surge Bomb Bundle, Surge Crest, Surge Parrying Blade, Surge Plume, Surge Ribbon, Surge Scarf, Surge Dapper Combo, Surge Power Scanner, Surge Glasses, Surge Round Shades, Surge Com Unit, Surge Mecha Wings, Surge Vertical Vents, Surge Bolted Vee, Surge Headband, Surge Maid Headband, Surge Toupee
* 25% - One Surge Costume Helm:
Surge Crescent Helm, Surge Round Helm, Surge Fur Cap, Surge Hood, Surge Pith Helm, Surge Plate Helm, Surge Sallet, Surge Scaled Helm, Surge Tailed Helm, Surge Winged Helm
* 25% - One Surge Costume Armor:
Surge Flak Jacket, Surge Draped Armor, Surge Fur Coat, Surge Cloak, Surge Brigandine, Surge Plate Mail, Surge Cuirass, Surge Scale Mail, Surge Culet, Surge Raiment
* 1.5% - Hacked Aura

Each Surge Prize Box also includes at least 1 confetti item, and has a 50% chance of including 2, and a 5% chance of including 3. Additionally, each Surge Prize Box has a 5% chance of including a Bonus Prize. This Bonus Prize will be either either a Trinket Slot Upgrade (62% chance), Weapon Slot Upgrade (31%), Krogmo Coin Booster (6%) or 2-Day Heat Amplifier (1%).

Three Rings offers no substitutions for these items. These items are offered as a bonus to energy purchases and have no cash or redemption value with Three Rings and cannot be returned for a discount.
