We don't require too much of our members except that they actually log onto Spiral Knights occasionally.  Basically, that means at least once a month, and we won't usually get around to kicking people out unless they haven't logged on in two months or longer.  Inactivity kicks ALWAYS come with the guarantee that if you start playing again after a period of absence, we'll invite you back into the guild, no questions asked.  It's more of an organization thing to keep the guild roster from being too cluttered with inactive people than anything else.  If that's you, please send us a mail in-game to let us know you're back, even if you're not interested in getting back into the guild!

Tier Zero is a guild that was created on September 26, 2011.
It is characterized by its mellow, educated, and older players as well as its close-knit, easygoing atmosphere. Members are formally required to have Tier 3 clearance or show ability to handle themselves well in Tier 2 in order to join, though we care more about our members' personalities than their skill or gear. Tier Zero has a fairly high activity rate, with at least some people online at most hours; members hail from all over the world and many different time zones (not to mention perspectives).

The skill level of our players is generally well above average and we are both capable and willing to run just about anything with success. In particular, we can run any of the boss areas quickly and competently, are willing to run regular Clockworks floors for fun, have several members excited to do danger missions and happily delve into the Shadow Lairs when we feel like it. And we have a lot of fun while we do it all.

Common guild activities:
  • Runs of whatever seems like a good idea at the time
  • Profiteering on the Auction House
  • Babbling incessantly in the soothing green of guild chat
Common discussion topics:
  • Spiral Knights game mechanics and development
  • Gaming
  • Trolling and humor
  • Real-world issues

Ranking System

While Tier Zero promotes an egalitarian atmosphere, there still exist several ranks for celebrating the achievements of our members. They are:

Recruit
A player who has recently been inducted.
Member
A recruit who has been around for a long enough to smell familiar.
Veteran
A long-time Tier Zero member. Exact requirements do not exist, but a mix of skill and seniority is to be expected.
Officer & Guild Master
A veteran or officer who has been elected for leadership ... or temporarily promoted for secret shenanigans in /o.

Activity Requirements

We don't require too much of our members except that they actually log onto Spiral Knights occasionally. Basically, that means at least once a month, and we won't usually get around to kicking people out unless they haven't logged on in two months or longer. Inactivity kicks ALWAYS come with the guarantee that if you start playing again after a period of absence, we'll invite you back into the guild, no questions asked. It's more of an organization thing to keep the guild roster from being too cluttered with inactive people than anything else. If that's you, please send us a mail in-game to let us know you're back!

Additional Info & Applying for Membership

To see additional information, please visit Tier Zero's recruitment page at http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/47340.
You can apply for membership there if you want, but it's probably a better idea to email our GM or one of our officers.
