[Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 15:37] After a short recruitment period, we've received seven new members- thanks for joining, everybody! We are still looking for members, but the focus is now being shifted back towards guild activities and upgrades. We're currently collecting boss tokens for statues, so please consider donating.

[Monday, December 08, 2014, 15:40] We're back, after a long period of inactivity! The guild's current focus is on rebuilding the treasury, and completing our stuffed-Snarby collection. As a side note, we're looking for new members again, so let us know if you have any friends who'd be a good fit.

Guild Summary

Joie de Vivre, pronounced ZHwä də ˈvēvrə (Zwa deh Viv-ruh) , comes from a French phrase meaning enjoyment of life. We chose this name because we felt it perfectly explains our hopes for the guild- we want Joie de Vivre to become a guild full of friends, where everyone is having fun together, and supporting each other. So, with that in mind, we're mainly looking for interesting, upbeat members. We have regular games of tag and musical chairs in the guild hall, and, on the topic of guild activities, we try to do missions and clockworks-runs throughout the week with any members who are online.

We have large plans for the guild hall itself, and are donating a lot of time and crowns towards realizing our dreams, however, there are no required tithes. That said, a weekly donation to help pay the upkeep is very much appreciated, and is a good way to get noticed by the officers and guild masters.

How to Join

We are slowly beginning to expand our ranks; if you feel like you'd be the perfect fit, send a mail to Vividlight, and I'll get everything sorted out.

Guild Rules

1. Respect the guild.

This means making a good public image, not swearing at, or insulting people, trying to aid anyone asking for help, and generally being polite around the SpiralKnights universe.

2. Be a good SpiralKnights member.

Rule two is similar to rule one, but emphasizes the way in which you're to interact with players outside the guild- in a polite and helpful way. Also, if you see any bad behavior, remember to report it (with proof).

3. Do not modify the guild hall without the approval of two guild masters.

Rule three is simple, and only applies to officers; do not modify the guild hall without the consent of at least two guild masters.

4. Follow the rules.

A simple, but important rule; if you do not follow the rules, you may be demoted or outright removed, based on your offense.

Rocksolid Ohio

On January 25, 2014, Rocksolid Ohio was given this prestigious award for protecting the GuildMasters' room from an onslaught of evil DarkFang menders.

Achivre

On February 7, 2014, Achivre was given this prestigious award for becoming the #1 customer of Keeper's Haven.

Shiiro

On April 18, 2014, Shiiro was adopted from Nonna to be trained in the ancient art of dark rituals, in the hopes that Joie de Vivire will be able to corner the market on Ancient Kat Helms.

Ivory

On April 20, 2014 , Beckettb adopted a little kat, who will be raised like a daughter to help fight when the black kats return.

Café

On the fourth floor of our guild hall, we have a café, Keeper's Haven (The Keep, for short), where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a refreshing beverage. Members are encouraged to relax, or role play, as they please, and we pride ourselves on the best cup of Redwood Java in Haven. In the café itself, you'll find your seating options to be plentiful, as one could sit anywhere from our many tables, to our full bar, or even in our cozy corner-booth.

Our exhaustive menu of beverages is as ever-changing as the Clockworks, but some of the drinks you'll hear praised all around Cradle are our refreshing Nightshade Tea, the fizzy Dr. BlazePepper, or a Forbidden Fruit Smoothie. If a bitter, somber, taste is more to your liking, try our reserved Redwood Java, or some Chroma-Tear water. Of course, remembering your bodily health is important, so don't forget to drink Snarbolaxitives at least once-a-month. For a full list of our current drink line-up, please see our in-house barista.
