When you encounter him in the Bazaar, he will be fixing a Mecha Knight for the "Expeditions" mission, which points out he is probably a researcher.

When you encounter him in the 9-4 Hall of Heroes, he will have fixed his Mecha Knight.

Appearance:

Modifiers: Dot Eyes, Yellow Personal Color
Helmet: Similar to the Stranger Hat.
Armor: Similar to the Brigandine. A Prismatic Barrel Belly and Prismatic Vitakit are attached to it.
Shield: Bosco bears no shield in Haven.
Weapon(s): Bosco wields no weapons in Haven.
