What we are

A broad overview of Omega Skwad as a team

Origin

Everyone loves a good origin story, so here is the origin of Omega Skwad. First off, it is properly spelled Ωmega Skωad, if you are here to insult us on our lack of ability to spell. Now that that is out of the way, it all started long ago, in an Xbox LIVE party far away. Two players, psychoJoker36 and warhero1000 were discussing creating a clan online. Meanwhile, Jay Carmine, also known as psychoJoker36, was discussing with Puck Shrieksthiem a very similar topic at school. Three phone calls, two Halo matches, and a peach later, Omega Skwad was born!

Purpose

Somewhere in this mass of chaos, we need people to keep order and discipline to ensure the survival of us all. Do not look to Omega Skwad, we are not those people! As a mass, we are instruments of chaos, madness, and the almighty Pootis! If the scene is not [BLAM!]'d up, then Omega Skwad is just yet to arrive.

What we do

A broad overview of Omega Skwad's actions

Guild Activity

Omega Skwad is known for it's Arcade runs, preferably Boss and Arena runs. Lockdown and Blast Network are sometimes held, and we get around to the Rank missions when we can.

How we do

A broad overview of Omega Skwad's "order"

Code of Conduct

We here at Omega Skwad take things very seriously and do not tolerate ridiculousness. There is a strict code of conduct to abide by and thus negligence to follow such will be handled with severe repercussions. Now that I am done lying to you, Omega Skwad has really little to no rules to follow. This is primarily because the GM's don't give a [BLAM!]. However, there are a few laws we do enforce, and because they are so few, we enforce them well.

The Law of Ωmega Skωad

Zero Harassment
A joke is a joke, but legitimately insulting a guildmate is just wrong
No Marketeering
This is a guild, not a business. No scamming, spamming, or commercializing. In-guild trading is ok, but ripping someone off is not
Respect the Ranks
There is a ranking system in place for some reason we are yet sure of. But if we wanted everyone to have equal ranks, everyone would be a Guild Master, so please respect that

Other suggestions you should consider:

  • You have a shield, please learn to use it
  • Use /g for guild chat
  • We are not a charity case
  • Do not rev yourself unless the entire team is dead, and even then, only rev yourself
  • Don't sit in my [BLAM!]ing chair!

Ranking System

  1. Join Guild
  2. Prove worth
  3.  ????
  4. Profit!!!

To be honest, our ranking system can be considered really biased. To get to Member, simply participate and do well on the battlefield with someone who can promote you. Some situations you can be recruited and promoted to Member instantly. Once Member is achieved, Veteran is earned through time and commitment. To proceed from Veteran to Officer, the GM's have to come together, speak on it, and decide to promote you. You can never become a Guild Master, do not ask. Those ranks are reserved for the Omega Ultras.

Funding

Omega Skwad does not demand any cr for the guild treasury, and thus, our meager guild hall stands as is. We accept any and all donations. Do not think you can buy a rank, we are not that kind of guild. Spiral Knights is Free to Play, so Omega Skwad is Free to Stay!

Guild Officials

These cool dudes hold some rank in the guild, and for a good reason. Get to know them better by reading these short summaries of their expeditions. Or get to know them even better by asking them yourself!

Heavy-Juggerknight

Heavy-Juggerknight is a calm and generically level-headed individual who would prefer chaos over order any day of the week. Though not officially marked as the sole "leader" of Omega Skwad, ambition and natural urge to take charge have the other Ultras looking to him as the commander. He is well known for his ability to attempt to destroy everything with the biggest most powerful thing he can get his hands on. For this psycho knight, the moment battle starts, calm is lost. DPS means Damage per Shot to Heavy, and he intends to keep it that way. Heavy can generically be found in the Guild Hall, assisting newer players, or roaming the arcade in search of the next challenge. When not on Spiral Knights, Heavy is either on Xbox LIVE, playing Team Fortress 2, or managing his server in Minecraft.
