About Us

The name Owsla originates from novel Watership Down, by Richard Adams.

Owsla is a constantly growing guild that is always welcoming new members. We are tightly knit, active, and all aim to make the game more enjoyable for each other. Our membership yields from all over the globe ~ United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia!

Feel free and stop by to our guild hall on Saturdays between 8:00PM - 9:00PM Eastern Standard/Daylight Time to join our parties. Non-members are welcome, as long as you do not spam and take account of the rule of no blasphemy! We play a variety of games with prizes which our Guild Master(s), and/or Officers host and hand out to the winners!

How to Join

If you are interested in joining, you should come our welcoming guild hall or private message an officer/GM, usually at least one is on throughout the day. A good day to find any member online in on Saturdays.

Visit our site (http://owsla.shivtr.com) and place an application there, then we can send you an invite whenever we get the chance. On our site, we discuss Spiral Knights related and unrelated topics, share screenshots and video recordings, write and share short works of fiction, and make announcements.

Rules and Policies

As a respectable guild, we have rules that must be followed at all times with or without any GMs/officers lurking about. Violation of any of these rules will, at first, warrant a warning. Subsequent violations stand as grounds for demotion, or even expulsion from the guild.

Treat others with respect!
As a member of Owsla, you must treat everyone, guildmate or not, with respect and politeness.
No cursing, blasphemy, racism, or sexism.
"Omg" is automatically considered as blasphemy in Owsla. Do not use it. "Omgosh," however, is an acceptable alternative.
Knights with inappropriate names will not be invited.
This includes names that could be misinterpreted as inappropriate.
No begging for mats, crowns, promotions, etc.
This guild is here to assist its members, but not do all the work for them.
No alternate knights (Your main-knight and and alt-knight)
It is inefficient and only serves to confuse everyone else.
Inactivity rule
Inactivity for 21 days will result in removal from Owsla. Unlike other rules, however, the removed can reapply with their former rank if they wish to do so and if we can accommodate them. If you talk to a GM about going inactive this rule can be altered.
Guild storage (Member, Veteran, and Officer)
These storages are currently kept empty due to being completely looted for personal gain. Better safe than sorry folks.
Donations
Donations are voluntary, but greatly appreciated. (i.e Crowns for Upkeep, of course, Boss Statues, expansions, etc.)

The List

We take our rules very seriously. GM Admonish holds a list of every guild members and their "hits" every time you disobey the rules. If you get hit three times, you are banned from the guild completely and ignored by Admonish. This list is also used for knowing when knights can be tested for their Veteran/Officer ranking.

Rankings

Earning promotions in Owsla is fairly straightforward, all of which require you to be a member for a specified time, with the last two requiring you also complete a test, supervised by an officer or guild master.

  • Recruit
    • Your application has been accepted and you are now in our ranks.
    • Perks: You get to be with us!
  • Member
    • You have been in Owsla for a full week, and are probably getting cozy in our halls.
    • Perks: Access to member storage
  • Veteran
    • You've been here for a month since you were a member. That's more than enough time to see how this guild works, and you've surely seen some things. To achieve this rank, you must have a full set of 4* equipment and pass a test in Vicious and Viscous (Elite).
    • Perks: Access to veteran storage, the ability to change the Message of the Day, the ability to edit the guild hall via Design Mode (please do contact a GM and request permission before doing this)
    • Other: Unlimited number of Veterans are allowed.
  • Officer
    • With another month's worth of active membership, and a successful run through the Silent Legion (Elite) (alongside 5* gear and of course the ability to access the Silent Legion), you are now officially recognized as an officer of Owsla. Congratulations if you have made it!
    • Perks: Access to officer storage, Birdsong Emporium, officer channel (/o), officer powers (do not abuse), and the guild's respect for staying in Owsla for so long!
    • Other: There can only be a maximum of 30 officers are one time, once all officer spots are filled, no one will be able to become an officer and remain a Veteran until further notice.
