This is a documentation subpage for Template:Quote (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Contents
Usage
To allow control of description format around the wiki. At the moment, many editors have agreed to italicize descriptions because they are direct quotes from in-game.[1] This may change in the future. This template allows instant control over many potential changes and can be incorporated into infoboxes or other templates if needed.
Code
{{Quote|1}}
If there is a source:
{{Quote|1|2}}
Parameters
|1
- Simply write the entire description in this field.
|2
- If there is an unusual source, list it here. Always quote the primary source, not a paraphrase, etc.
Notes
This template uses Template:Source for parameter 2.
