Sick of all the pretty lights when using bombs? Do bombers bomb flashes annoy the ever living daylights out of you? Well it just so happens that I can fix that. Follow these simple instructions and remove that annoying bright flash from Nitronome, the obnoxious spikes from DBB, and just about every large flash bomb.

• WINDOWS
• STEP 1

Locate your spiral knights root folder

• STEP 2

Create a backup of your "rsrc" folder by copying and pasting it inside the "spiral knights" folder.

• STEP 3

Create a new document inside your spiral knights folder and copy/paste the following code into it.

• STEP 4

Now you need to go to file\SAVE AS and save the document as "1 spiral_bombfix.bat"(WITH QOUTES)

• STEP 5

After you have saved your new batch file, run it ONE TIME and it will modify the files to replace the large obnoxious blast with a much more enjoyable ground flash. If you have done this while runnign SK, close SK then reload it for the changes to take effect.

• STEP 3

If you made these changes while SK was running, restart SK to get the reduction in graphics. You can experiment by removing files from the game that only add a little bit of glamor to the game, that don't really do much to the game mechanics to enhance your gameplay on a low end machine.
