| aboutUs = Coup De Grace is highly active and organized guild founded by Icycloud. Most of our members have Tier 3 access and are capable of running Firestorm Citadel (FSC). We do frequent FSC runs and aim to train our members to be efficient at defeating Lord Vanaduke, along with other boss runs. Members are expected to be active players and know their role well in combat, as well as being sociable in our guild chat.

| recruitment = In order to join the ranks of CDG you need to meet the following minimal requirements:

Tier 3 access
Plenty of Experience with Fire Storm Citadel runs
A good attitude
Be mature
Be Active
Please note: We are no longer accepting random requests to join the guild. All potential recruits must be recommended by current members.

| rules & regulations = Although we do consider ourselves quite a laid back guild and are quite lenient on the general silliness that goes on in runs and in the guild chat, there are a few rules you are expected to adhere to and refusal to do so with grant you swift removal from our ranks;

Be Active: We would like you to be active, even if it means just logging in for a few minutes to craft something. Now that we can see when each member last logged in, if you are going to be away for an extended period of time it is very important that you inform an officer beforehand, so that we know you will be away. If you do not do so, you will likely be removed for in-activeness in two weeks (note that this can vary by a day or two earlier if we need the space), you will usually be informed by mail of this, and if there are any circumstances that caused you not to log in, we will consider your reinstatement on a case by case basis.

Guild Etiquette: For those who don't know, etiquette is a fancy term for manners. It is expected that you treat other guild members in a friendly manner and with respect, as well as the general spiral community. This especially applies in guild chat. Guild chat is NOT to be used for venting problems. If you have issues with a guild-mate, first take it up with them, privately and politely. If the issue is not resolved, then send a mail to an officer (important to mail, and not just /tell the officer, so we have a record) and allow them to handle it. If you are grumpy and do not want to be disturbed, there is absolutely NO reason this needs to go into guild chat, as people are going to ask why etc. For the people who do ask why, please do not upset them further or annoy them in the hope of some kind of negative response. We look down upon this type of behavior VERY poorly, so don't do it. The same goes for language and insults (such as but not limited to racist remarks, mothers, etc.). We cannot control what you do with your /tells, but if we see this in guild chat, in public chat, or another member advises us of this, there will be few warnings. A simple rule to follow, if you think what you've typed will offend anyone at all, delete it.

Boosts to FSC/Boosts in general: Please ask before joining a party if you can. If you click Join a Party at the gate and you end up in an Open guild-mate's party that's different, but otherwise let them know before you join. People who do the run down to Depth 23 spend their time and mist doing so. If you wish to join them at their current Depth, feel free to /tell them or ask in guild chat, but note that they may be in a middle of a fight and cannot respond. If they do not respond, do not continually message them about it either, you may try again at the next depth, but only once. When they reach Depth 23, you can /tell them or ask in guild chat once if you may join. Do not hover over their progress from D19 at every step of the way reminding them to invite you at D23 if you are not planning on joining them earlier. To summarize on this, only ask once a depth and only if you plan on joining them straight away. It is up to the person doing the run to D23 whether they want to announce that there are free spots, or to invite at their own discretion.
