The Fun Page
Welcome to the Resistance's Fun Page! This page will record all our future "fun activities". Our activities will be announced in guild chat, or by word of mouth! Check this page out once in a while for fun, new, weird, wacky stuff we come up with!
- Hosting: Lemon-Neko
- When: Monday, May 14th, 2012 (USA) "this will be a week long event, depending on when the Referees set their dates for their runs"
- Time: ---
- Where: Starting point - Depth 18, Emberlight Town of Gremlin Outcasts
~NOTE: There might be future changes, please check this from time to time, we will also announce it via Guild Chat if there are any new changes.~
Here it is Resistance, are you ready for a new event that doesnt involve MICROPHONES?! Unlike all our other guild events we've had, this is actually quite different. What exactly do we mean this time? Well, we will be holding a Tournament. This means, that all you members of Resistance can sign up and be pitted against one another in the clockworks to claim who is the best in the Resistance. Hurry and sign up, spots are limited!!!!
Now, you all are probably asking how this is going to work, well, read below and you will find out!
NOTE: Do keep in mind, that you will be using your own energy to venture down into the clockworks, any reviving that you do will be at your own cost. You will not be reinbursed for the energy that you used.
Preliminary Round:
- Nine people will sign up and will split up into 3 different parties. Each party will have one Referee, the Referee's responsibility will be to watch over the party and keep track of points not only that but even be disruptive and try to kill the participants.
- The run will be held in Tier 3, starting at Depth 18, Emberlight Town of Gremlin Outcasts. All tiers are welcome to sign up, but do keep in mind spots are limited.
- Each participant will have a chance to win 300 CE each. Those who survive the Preliminary Round will then have a chance to win 500 CE in our Final Round and a special Shadow Lair run. [Key supplied from an unknown source.]
- All participants will start with a potential 300 CE prize.
- For each death you take you lose 100 CE from your 300 CE prize. When your prize CE reaches 0 CE you will be disqualified from the Tournament and will be awarded an honorary Ecto Drop as a consolation prize.
- Everyone must do their share of work, if the referee catches a party member hiding in a corner or empty room they will be docked 100 ce from their 300 CE prize.
- Players disqualified in the party may remain in the party or return to Haven. If the disqualified member remains, they can thwart the other contestants chance to claim their prize. It's okay, be a sore loser, take it out on the others!
- Tie Breaker: There will be those who succeed with a full 300 CE. So how we've determined our tie breaker will be with a Sudden Death Trivia Question. Each participant will be given Trivia Questions until they're answered wrong and only one remains. The victor will then move to the Final Round. *NOTE: Those in a tie breaker will still be awarded their CE prizes.*
- If you leave in the middle of a run, you will be automatically disqualified and will not recieve any sort of consolation prize.
Final Round:
- The winners from each party of the Preliminary Rounds will then move on to the Final Round which will be held in Shadow Lair. The Shadow Lair level chosen will be; Ultimate Firestorm Citadel.
- Same rules from the Preliminary Rounds will be used in the Final Round. This time instead of 300 CE, it will be a potential prize of 500 CE.
- There will be a final reward of 600 CE given to the participant with the highest remaining CE prize.
- In case of a Tie Breaker, the prize of the 600 CE prize will then be split amongst the participants.
- Referee - Rieni (Saturday, May 19th, at 6pm CST )
- Theraptorjesus - 0 CE
- Jarfour - 0 CE
- Batohs - *WINNER* 0 CE

Hello all! Welcome to the Resistance's First Ever Art Contest! Now I'm sure alot of you are going "Holy crap I can draw! I could win this!" or "I can't draw! No way I'm gonna win this!" But just because you can draw or you can't, doesn't mean you'll win.
Let's see here, I'll get right to the point. Drawing skills aren't what I'm looking for. I mean, stick figures are funnier to look at then anime/cartoon characters (no hard feelings). What I'll actually be looking for in this contest is how well you can tell a story. Art isn't everything! I'm not looking for a big extravigant 100 page story, no... what I want is a Four Panel Comic, the most creative wins! (or 4Koma, google search for examples).
Now don't go rushing and start making up random comics, you first must pick your theme. This theme is the template to revolve your comic around:
- Theme 1 - Your first impression of the Guild Resistance.
- Theme 2 - How much you've grown in the Guild Resistance.
- Theme 3 - How much you've learned in the Guild Resistance.
- Theme 4 - What you think about the Guild Resistance.
You can choose 1 of these themes. Not only that, but I would like these all to be appropriate. Seeing how we do also have younger players in the guild. So do keep it PG 13.
~NOTE: There might be future changes, please check this from time to time, we will also announce it via Guild Chat if there are any new changes.~
PRIZES:
First Prize Winner - 1000 CE
Second Prize Winner - 500 CE
Third Prize Winner - 300 CE
Consolation Prizes - 10 Ecto Drops
The RULES:
Now, like every competition, there are rules.
- Rule 1 - It must be done in a four panel style comic. (If you are confused on what a 4 panel or 4 koma is, google search it, it's not hard, you live in a technology age for a reason.) For those thinking "I CAN'T DRAW!", well, use your head and find a creative way for making a comic. Everything is at your fingertips! Just be creative!!!
- Rule 2 - Color or no color, its up to you.
- Rule 3 - When posting your image please give it a fancy title, and not only that but please label the Theme of your comic and the name of your knight. (Example: The Great Clockworks, Theme 4, Created by Unknown-Knight)
- Rule 4 - Where to post your image. Our official website!
- Rule 5 - Deadline on completeing your entry will be June 30th, 2012.
Winners of Shuichi's Art Contest!
First Place Winner (1,000 ce):
~Jpwn with their entry, Peeps in my Guild
Second Place Winner (500 ce):
~ Macurse with their entry Of Incredulity
Third Place Winner (300 ce):
~Akurias with their entry ActivityWelcome to our newest Guild Event, “Where in the Clockworks is Guild Master Shuichi”. Now, I hope you all are excited as I am, because this new event has tons of prizes for all you active guild members!!! To begin things off, I will start off with a little explanation. As the title of the Guild Event states, “Where in the Clockworks is Guild Master Shuichi”, you all will have to guess where I am located in the clockworks with the images below. Each image has been carefully taken by yours truly. You must answer correctly, with perfect spelling, (that means proper capitalization too). Not only that, but there is also an entry fee when entering this Guild Event. That entry fee will be 100 crowns and 10 Ecto Drops. All you have to do is type the correct answer in a mail message, and send it over to me, Shuichi.
Now you all are probably thinking, “HEY, this seems pretty easy.” But I assure you, it’s not. SO… to begin things off, let’s start with the rules.
Please pay attention, because whoever fails to follow these rules will be disqualified!
- First of all, I will not repeat these rules in the Guild Chat. The only thing I will do in the guild chat is announce that we have this new guild event. To those who wish to enter, MUST visit our wiki page (this page) or our Official Guild Website for these rules. Now if you have any questions about something in this guild event send me a message via /tell, if you ask me via guild chat, I will not answer your question and you will remain unanswered.
- You can enter this contest up to FIVE TIMES. This means, you get five chances to get prizes, or five chances to fail. If you answer right to one of the images below, then you win the prize corresponding to the image. If you answer correctly to 5 different images, then you win the corresponding prizes to those 5 different images. Pretty simple, aye? BUT…, if you answer wrong, you will lose a chance, so your 5 chances are now dwindled to 4, and if you are wrong again, it becomes 3, and so on. If you continue to answer wrong and use up all your chances, then you are out!
- How to send in your guesses. Send it to me Via Mail. The fee for this event is 100 crowns and 10 Ecto Drops. When sending me your guess, send it to me one at a time. I do not want to see all your answers in one message. I will not accept your answers, and in doing so you will lose one out of your five chances.
- When sending me the guesses for the prizes, it is first come, first get. So who ever sends me the correct answer to one of the images first, then they are the winner to that item. (Those who managed to guess correctly but lost to the race will be given their chance back and can try their luck at a different item.)
- I WANT PROPER SPELLING AND PUNCUATION!!!!! That means every single word must be spelt right, and if it has a capital letter…it had better be UPPER CASE, because if it isn’t, then it’s wrong.
- How to answer properly. I want your message to look like this. Your subject line should have the Image Number and the corresponding prize. Your mail body should have your answer. If you fail to follow these rules, your answer will be counted WRONG and you will be notified in a “TRY AGAIN” reply.

GUILD WEBSITECome join us in the Guild Hall for some scary Ghost Stories. Those who manage to scare Officer Lemon-Neko with their story wins 10,000 crowns! Now you all may think it's impossible to scare him, but as his Sister, I know how whimpy he can be. (laughs)
Rules:
- One person at a time tells their story (types) in the chat. That person must also be standing, while everyone else is seated.
- Whoever can scare Lemon-Neko with their story wins. In other words makes him cringe in fear wins 10,000 crowns.
- You can enter as many times as you like. So you can end up going home with more than 10,000 crowns.
- Who ever speaks during someone's story telling will be disqualifed from the event and will not win any prize if they share a story.
Types of Stories
- Personal Stories - Personal Stories, meaning, you yourself experienced Paranormal Activity or maybe even heard it from a friend or family member. Me, personally I think stories like this are the best scare!
- Internet Stories - These are stories you can copy and paste from the internet for us to read.
- Hosting: Your Guild Masters and felllow Officers!
- When: Saturday, December 1st, 2012 (USA)
- Time: 5:00 P.M. Central Time (USA)
- End Time: -----
- Where: The Guild Hall in the War Room and also on Our Guild's Teamspeak Server
- Requirements: A working microphone/speaker.
If you wish to participate, please contact one of your fellow Officers or Guild Masters. Or send a Mail Message to Guild Master Shuichi.
How to Play:
- A bunch of chairs will be placed around the table in the war room. I, Shuichi (your host) will be seated in one of the chairs, which will make one less chair.
- All players who wish to participate must stand around the table. Once the music starts, the players begin walking around the circle in a clockwise motion. When the music stops, the players must sit in a chair as fast as they can. The person left standing is out of the game and must seat themself into a chair (this is to reduce the number of chairs).
- Last person remaining will be awarded an item from the Officer Storage. (NOTE: All items in the officer storage are UV items, these are all items that have been donated specifically for events such as this.)
We only have 19 chairs available in the guild (currently, there may be more added in the future). So if you wish for a spot, sign up now!

NEW RULES:
With the introduction of the new Guildhalls, in this Tournament, we will be implementing a Participation Fee of 5000 crowns to raise funds for the Guildhall Treasury. This fee is to be paid to the contestant's referee before the referee starts their run.
Also with this tournament we will be using a Sign-Up Sheet. In the past we have had several guildmates sign up for this tournament only to have been replaced with another guildmate. To avoid confusion, the Sign-Up Sheet will hold a list of names of guildmates who are interested in participating in the tournament. Parties will be made from this list of names in the order they signed up in.
For example:
- 1: contestant-a
