Guild Summary

Gaming Knights is a humble and laid-back guild made for friends of SK, and nerds of gaming. We don't have any main objectives, as we just hang out, share our gaming knowledge and opinions with each other, while having fun at the same time. Besides, we won't tolerate bad behavior or misconducts in Gaming Knights, you know. Also, we're not a competitive guild; we're not into playing Lockdown or Blast Network matches. XP

But the most important thing about our guild is learning moral values, and having fun. It doesn't matter if we're a rich or famous or not, all of us are what matters most; we're a family.

How to join Gaming Knights; the requirements

If you want to join our humble guild, you may feel free to do so. If you want to apply for signing up in our guild, be sure to PM Gamer-Troopa or any other Officers (Jonbottron or Gearless) in-game and tell us that you want to join our guild. If you do, we'll meet up and I'll ask you a few questions and even do a run or two for us to get to know each other better. Then, I'll decide whether or not to include you into the guild.

But there are a few specific requirements:

  • You must be active at most times (you can get kicked from being inactive without notice).
  • You must be friendly and kind to our mates.
  • You must be willing to support and contribute your wealth for our guild.
  • You must be mature in mind...

Guild Ranking system

Like many guilds, our guild has a ranking system for you to follow. Here's the rundown of each guild ranks...

The way to obtain certain ranks of the guild depends on your conduct and activities done in SK. Once in a while, we would discuss and decide whether to give you the right to obtain certain guild ranks or not.

Guild Motto

We have put our heads together to come up with a brand-new, Guild Motto. We expect you guildies (including us Officers and the GM) to remember it whenever we ask of you to recite it. This is the motto:

When we think of Gaming Knights, we think of Farming, Loyalty, and Gaming.

Study this and remember it at all times just in case we ask one of you to recite it.

There are 3 values mentioned in the motto, Farming, Loyalty and Gaming. Why such values? We'll explain in details...

  • Farming - Used to describe our hard-working attitudes, as well as humility in all of us.
  • Loyalty - We're a family, and we should treat each other as such. Used to describe our attachment to the guild.
  • Gaming - Used to describe our main interest; Gaming!

The many values of the guild

Besides the Guild Motto, we also have these values that you should follow:

  • Security

Precautions are better than cures; be mindful of dangers and risks, and avoid perilous deaths.

  • Courage/Bravery

Live for nothing, or die for something; Get out of your comfort zone, and risk your life for the greater benefit of others.

  • Generosity

Be generous to share your stuffs to your guild mates and your friends (But not too generous, though!), and help their problems out.

  • Kindness

Be kind to your fellow guild mates and play it nice!

  • Honesty & Integrity

Be honest in telling the truth, even with your own actions.

  • Humility

Be humble in your victories, and do not be arrogant; Accept your defeats and move onward.

  • Independence

Sometimes, you have to learn to handle problems on your own, because you don't have to rely on others to help you all the time; be independent in yourself.

Gaming Knights guild rules

Like other guilds, we have our own house rules guild members must follow, in order to create a friendly environment in the guild. Failure to comply with the rules will result in temporary demotion or even being kicked out of the guild, so pay attention. Here are the many topics of GK's rules:

[Topic 1]. The Golden Rules

  • The MOST important rule in any game, have FUN! Never ruin/spoil the fun or be rude with your mates.
  • Only 1 person speaks at the time; have respect in each other and don't interrupt rudely, unless it's urgent.
  • Don't be disappointed when you don't get the result(s) you wanted; have patience.

[Topic 2]. Party Friendly-ness

  • During Arcade/Mission runs with other guildies/Knights, be aware on what weapon you're using; some weapons aren't party-friendly. Weapons with powerful knockbacks are also considered non party-friendly (Nitronome/Blue Screen of Death, Polaris/Trollaris, etc.).
  • Whenever anyone dies during the run, help them up with Health Revives instead of Energy Revives; we're conserving and making good use of our energy (mist/CE) here! Also, for dead guildies/Knights, wait for others to help you up instead.
  • Don't be shy to share your inventory items; they would appreciate it and you will be rewarded in return (You know what they say about Karma; "What goes around, comes around.").

[Topic 3]. Begging & Borrowing

  • Don't be a Drama Queen and beg; Simply ASK and we'll provide you what you need. However if it's begging for higher positions in the guild, don't even think about it. T^T
  • If you want to borrow stuffs from us, Just ask and we'll let you borrow our stuffs, as long as you remember to return them afterwards (A way I recommend so you can remember to repay something to someone is to send them a letter titled, "I owe you...(what you owe them)". Also tell them to reply and for at least 30 days you will have a little reminder just in case you forget :3).

[Topic 4]. In-activity

  • If you're inactive for too long, you WILL be removed from the guild without notice, provided that you give us the reason for your absence (before you get kicked). Please report to either me or my Officers and state your reason of absence. If you do, I'll suspend your inactivity until you return online in SK.
  • As for the Officers, please report to me and state his/her reasons for his/her absence.

[Topic 5]. Leaving the Guild

  • If you don't feel like staying in the guild or want to join other guilds instead, it's fine, as long as you provide us your reason. If you do, we'll allow you to rejoin back into the guild anytime you wish.
  • If you left the guild by accident, it's okay, people can make mistakes. ^^

[Topic 6]. Guild Hall - Dormitory renting

  • For those who wants to have their own rooms (even Officers... T^T), simply look for me and I'll arrange a Dormitory for you to reside in. Since it's a Dormitory, you have to share the same room with other members, who also wants to have their own.
  • A dormitory only holds up to 6 members per room (6 beds for 6 members), so I'll arrange more dormitories when one of them is full.

Event Week!

There has been some changes made to the order of events at the beginning of the month. We are changing the Attendance Check and other guild events from the first of the every month to the first week of every month. It will be referred to as, Event Week (If anyone has any better names please let us know).

The way this will work is during the first and second day of the month, we will have our normal Attendance check but no other significant occurring on this day besides the Monthly Guild Meeting on the first Monday of the month. The next day we will have our "Babysitting Snarby" Guild Event. After that we will have "Mining our own business". and if there is a Friday within the 5 day period, we will have "Anything could happen Friday".

We will also try to have the Attendance Check throughout this week so if you can't be on during Monday and Tuesday you will still be checked of as being active. However the main days we will have it are Monday and Tuesday. If you are not familiar with these events, please refer to the boxes below. Also if anyone has any ideas on guild events please refer to the Guild Master, Gamer-Troopa; Head Officer, Jonbottron, or 2nd Head Officer, Cool-Knight. Sadly, some people can't be on during this time so if you can't let Head Officer's or GM know and we will arrange for you a small Event Week for you, it will be purposed to be just for you but if others can't be on during regular Event Week or you just want to join for more fun you may join as well! We can't leave anybody behind so expect Event Week to come to everybody!

We try to make Event Week a fun and festive time in the guild so be excited when the first of the month comes! :D

The many wise phrases of Gaming Knights

Here is a list of the many wise phrases made up by all of us in Gaming Knights. Like Jon's list of "real" words, some may actually be helpful in real-life, whereby some are for laughs. Most of the phrases made are from me, but if you have any wise phrases to share, be sure to inform either me (Gamer-Troopa) or Jon in-game or on Steam and I'll update the list with your desired phrase, along with your name.

~Gamer-Troopa, GK's Guild Master

  • "It doesn't matter if we're rich or not, all of us are what it matters; we're a family." (Gamer-Troopa)
  • "Power in mind is always stronger than our numbers itself." (Gamer-Troopa & Reglas)

Having only a single type doesn't mean you'll always win; have a wider variety. (Gamer-Troopa)

  • "A good Knight doesn't need defenses; only skills." (Lechery)

Having lots of defenses in-game is like having training wheels on your bicycles, in real-life; if you're confident in your skills, you can always take them off. This also applies in-game as well. (Gamer-Troopa)

  • "Reputation is not important to Knights but loyalty." (Cool-Night)
  • "Knights don't fight for money; but for loyalty and peace of their countries." (Cool-Night)
  • "All bad things are a storm, and storms never last; they would all be gone." (Gearless)
  • "Don't have negative thoughts; think positive." "That's what calms a storm." (Gamer-Troopa & Gearless)
  • "Farm 'till ya drop!" (Jonbottron)
  • "Life is too short to focus on the hating and such." (Jonbottron & Metro-Rwiz)
  • "A Knight has to treasure his health and his skills too." (Gearless)
  • "Words are men's truest wisdom." (Gearless)
  • "No pain, no gain; you will face pain, yet you gain something from pain." (Gamer-Troopa)
  • "A group of enemies is like Gold encased in rocks; Break them down... one at the time." (Gamer-Troopa)

It may take a long time to get a single task to be done, but be patient and take your time doing it.

Jonbottron's List of "real" Words

This is a list created by me (Jonbottron) consisting of words I use on a regular basis or just happen to come up with. Some may actually be helpful to you and some may just make you laugh. Most of the words on the list will be made by me but if you have a word you like to use (preferable a fake one) then just tell me in-game or on Steam and I'll put it in along with your name.

  • laggy (adj.) - Used to describe a knight whose internet connection is not so great and this lack of internet manifests in the game.
  • Goaty (noun) - The name we have given the friendly Mecha Bots, whom we have endeared ourselves to. Also the guild's mascot.
  • Jelly-em-up (verb) - Used to describe what we do on a farming run of JK/RJP/Jelly King/Royal Jelly Palace, implying that we "beat up the jellies" in the run (provided by Gamer-Troopa).
  • Trollaris (noun) - The name we use to describe the Polaris. The word is a mix-up of "Troll" and "Polaris", which implies trolling other Knights with the Polaris' area-denial powers (provided by Gamer-Troopa).

~ These are all the words we have so far. If you wish to contribute, let me know! ~

Members' Profiles and Assistance Seeking

For those who wants to know more about our guildies in GK, be sure to check out the Members' profiles page for the list of Gaming Knights members that have contributed and supported our progress to where we are today. Also, if you're having problems in Clockwork/Arcade runs or Mission runs, you may refer to the list and seek help from your desired member.
