About Us

No one really knows how long The Lazy Gunner has been around. No one knows how many previous owners it has had. But one fateful day in November 2012, the current guild master bid farewell to the guild and handed her title over to Toxxikk. Since then, Toxxikk and her husband, Tsuato have pulled the guild from the ground to recruit more members and work on guild hall expansions. They are dedicated and patient, ready to help new guildies learn the ropes of Spiral Knights. They promote a giving and helpful environment where members can depend on other members. But never forget, laziness is also quite welcome.

How To Join

Membership is currently open but will soon close as the membership limit is reached. Until the forums are set up to contact us, you may PM one of the GM's or Officers while in the game. Please tell us why you would like to join and a little about yourself, such as how long you have been playing Spiral Knights. New players are certainly welcome as long as they can follow the rules.

How To Get Promoted

All promotion rules may be overridden by GM's at any time, but this will only happen in very special, rare cases. To be promoted regularly, take a look at the guidelines below. Trust and devotion to the guild will get you promoted more easily.

How To Get Demoted or Removed

• Not talking in the chat or the forum. If you want to keep your membership status safe, hop on over to the forum and make a few posts once in a while. Let us know you care about being a member by talking to us. The Lazy Gunner Forum
• Demoted once for every month you are inactive. If you know you will be gone, send a PM to a GM as a precaution.
  • This is not extremely strict, but GM's will be checking for inactivity over one month, so log on once a month just to be safe.
• Removed if you are a recruit inactive for one month.
  • If you are demoted or removed due to inactivity, you may reapply if there is room in the guild. PM a GM.
• Hounding other players for crowns, energy, freebies. It's okay to ask once in a while if you need help, but do not annoy everyone with begging.
• Excessive profanity.
• Ignoring warnings sent by GM's.
• Frivolous purchases that drain the guild treasury (officers and GM's only).

Guild Rules

• Above all, be nice to other guild members. Meanness will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with a member, please send a PM to one of the GM's with details.
• Do not beg constantly for freebies. Once in a while is okay if you really, really need help. Return the favors as often as you can.
• Help with missions, arcade runs, etc. whenever you can. Most levels are more fun with extra players, and even better when they are your guild mates!
• Refrain from too much profanity. Just don't be excessive.
• Don't send a billion invites to join your party. If the user did not accept it the first time, they are probably already busy. You can see who is busy by looking at your social tab and the icon next to their name. If you still aren't sure, request help via the guild chat and see if anyone can respond.
• If you are in a party, revive each other. Don't hoard capsules if another member can use it to stay alive. Alternatively, you can use the capsule to give yourself more health and then revive the other member to give them half.
• It's polite to ask if you can join a party before doing so, but some members do not mind. If you know they don't mind and there is room in their party, hop on in!
• Respect those ranked above you. They got their rank by being awesome guild members and players.

Guild Treasury

Anything that is put into the treasury CANNOT be taken back out! If you put a single crown, CE, material, gear, etc. into the treasury, NOBODY can take it out. Please be sure you are okay with donating it to the treasury. It will be used to further the guild hall expansions, so it will be put to good use. All donations are greatly appreciated!! Thank you for helping out the guild!

Guild Storage

We now have a guild storage at the guild hall. Guildies of each rank can access the storage of their rank and below. That means that Veterans can access Veteran AND Member storage. Members can only access Member, and Recruits do not have access at all. This means that if you put something into the storage ANYONE of the same rank or higher can take it back out. Be very careful with what you put into the storage. If you would like it to be safer, you can give it to a GM or Officer to put in the Officer storage, since only a few knights have access to that right now (Tankini, Toxxikk, Tsuato, The-Cheese-King, and Aim-To-Kill). You cannot add CE or cr to the guild storage, however. So those donations will be held on Tankini's account, referred to as the Guild Bank below, and will be saved for Guild Event prizes and/or purchases that benefit the Guild. Contest: Guild Logo Raffle

Congratulations to Aim-To-Kill for being our randomly selected winner in the raffle! He had six logos entered in the contest and the best odds to win. His chosen prize was the Wise Owlite Shield Recipe (4*)!

We hope to have another contest underway soon! If you'd like to see better prizes in the future, donate something to Tankini (crowns, CE, items) so she can add it to the "guild bank" and prize pool!

Contest: Recruitment Ad Bios

Members are encouraged to help us write bios about some of our most active members. The best pieces will be represented on our recruitment ad to show interested players what our members are really like. Each entry of 50 words or more will earn you an entry into the lottery, like the last contest. There will also be a second different winner for the funniest bio submitted. Check out the forum for the details and to submit your entry!

Current News

Coming soon:

• A lottery! We will soon set up a lottery in which each member who donates a certain amount to the treasury will be entered into a lottery for a certain prize! GM's are currently discussing the rules of the lottery.
• General Guild Events - We will organize events in which guild parties can work together on missions, arcades, coliseum, etc.
• Newbie Guild Events - One experienced member will take a few newbies into the clockworks at a time to help them learn the ropes.
• Guild Fund Events - Parties and arcade runs will be formed with the sole purpose of donating a set number of crowns to the guild, to reach a certain goal for that day. (For example, we might ask you to donate half of your run earnings to the treasury, with the goal of making 25,000 crowns together in one day.)

Current goals:

• 37,500 crowns in the treasury per week for the guild upkeep
• Veteran Door 50,000 cr + Mist Well 33,750 cr for Veteran and above use only, to be funded by Veterans and above
• Purchase of the 2F Central War Room 22,500 cr (Raises upkeep to 60k per week)

Goals Reached!

12-2013: We now have our Alchemy Stations in the guild hall! Thank you each and every one of you who donated to the treasury!!

01-01-2013: We now have both first floor wings!

01-22-2013: We now have the second floor, the Auction Hall, and the guild storage!

02-01-2013: We now have both second floor wing expansions, thanks to generous donations from PetitePerson. If you see him in-game, be sure to say thanks!
