Player Rank indicates progression the player has made through rank missions. It has a significant influence on various aspects of the game.

Notes

The player is ranked a "Recruit" when they first start a character in Spiral Knights. By completing rank missions (particularly the Hall of Heroes), the player can increase their rank. Vanguard is the max rank.

Rank determines the star-level of gear a player can equip as well as which missions can be accessed. Rank also determines the starting depth of prestige missions as well as the quantity of certain prestige rewards.

In some cases, Player Rank determines event or promotion rewards, as with the Homecoming Celebration 2012 and Companion Prize Box.

This ranking system is separate from other ranking systems such as Guild Rank or the amount of prestige the player has. Missions and prestige are closely related, so there is some correlation between player rank and prestige rank.
