Recruit missions become locked as soon as the player loads this floor. The player is able to cross the chasm into Haven after the events that transpired in the recruit missions. This floor consists of a small area right outside the Haven Town Square that is only accessible via this mission. A Proto Bomb is acquired and Rhendon will explain how to use it. Several miscellaneous NPCs and a Spiral Warden with the title of Guardian Knight greet the player.

The "Welcome, Stranger" achievement can be earned by stepping near the border into the Town Square (the player does not have to enter the Town Square to trigger the achievement). The next dialogue missions can also be started without stepping into the Town Square. The Welcome to Haven! will start automatically after the player loads into the Town Square.

Overview

Description:

Having restored the power to the Rescue Camp and established contact with Spiral HQ, it's time you attempted to cross the chasm to the north of the Rescue camp and reach Haven where the rest of the Spiral Knights have taken refuge.

In order to cross the chasm you will need to take the elevator down into the Clockworks and find another to bring you back up on the other side. There's no telling what dangers lurk in the dark depths below so Rhendon will be accompanying you on your journey.

Objective:

Cross the chasm with Rhendon and reach Haven.

Notes

The art used in the Mission Interface card is reminiscent of an old Guild Hall design.

After the player completes this mission, the Rescue Camp is no longer easily accessible, completing the introductory phase of the game. The player can now socialize in areas of Haven.
