Poison is a status condition that inflicts the victim with various effects depending on if it is a knight or a monster.
When a knight is poisoned, they cannot heal, either from hearts or capsules, and have reduced attack power.
Monsters afflicted with poison will be unable to heal themselves or regenerate health. Gremlin Menders or Wings are able to heal poisoned monsters at a significantly reduced rate. It will also weaken the monster's attack power and defense.
Themed Enemies
Poison-themed enemies are immune to and may inflict poison status.
- Blarfuls
- Blight Knights
- Drouls
- Hazbots
- Hurkats
- Jade Greavers
- Rabid Wolvers
- Toxigels, Toxilargos, and Spiny Toxilargos
- Sick Puppies
- Vilewoods
- Virulisks and Deadly Virulisks
Inflicting Poison
Spiral Knights can inflict poison on monsters by using poison vials against them or using a weapon that has a chance of inflicting poison.
Weapons that are able to inflict poison are:
- Vile Striker and upgrades
- Toxic Catalyzer and upgrades
- Toxic Vaporizer and upgrades
