I've never met anyone who would ONLY use weapons that could inflict shock, and would ONLY wear armor and a helm that provide shock protection, etc. The guides are essentially a walkthrough on what to buy and to use to have maximum of some status effect defense and to be able to inflict a certain status effect incredibly frequently since all the weapons shown deal it. All those status guides...
I really don't see how they help. I've never met anyone who would ONLY use weapons that could inflict shock, and would ONLY wear armor and a helm that provide shock protection, etc. The guides are essentially a walkthrough on what to buy and to use to have maximum of some status effect defense and to be able to inflict a certain status effect incredibly frequently since all the weapons shown deal it.
