Guild History

Reign of Fire was created by Theoncomingfire on Wednesday 30th November 2011. Theoncomingfire made the guild to give knights a chance and experience of joining a guild that is aimed at working with other knights for the better, and helping them to complete the tasks that they face. The name of the guild was brought together by the Guild master, his deputy Guild Master and his senior officers who he knows in real life. The guild is open to any knight with Tier 2 or Tier 3 entrance. We do not accept Tier 1 members unfortunately and the guild is open to any promising and active knights. The guild is run by the Guild Master, with the Deputy Guild Master Pedropolo and with his senior officers Fufumaster, Eclipsex and Godziwa.

Guild Rules

There are several rules in the guild that must be adhered to. These include:

Be Active: Life in the real world can be very difficult. Everyone understands that. However, if you cannot go online for a period of time, please tell a guild master or senior officer about the situation to why you will not be online. If you have not been online for 2 weeks then you will receive mail giving a warning and idleness for a month may result in removal from the guild unless you have told a senior officer or guild master why you have been offline for a long time beforehand.

Be Respectful: Guild Members are to be respectful to Guild Masters and Senior Officers. Officers are not allowed to remove people from the guild however, they can report to guild masters if someone has been misbehaving or breaking any of the guild rules. This is to ensure that the guild is fun and to prevent anyone from feeling left out or alone.

No Begging: Begging is not taken in the guild. This is because it does not just give a bad reputation on you, but on the guild too. Even if it's just a small amount of crowns then that is still unacceptable.

No Offensive/Rude Language: This is not tolerated at all. This can lead to a removal or demotion in the guild if necessary.

Attend All Guild Meetings: All Guild Meetings are at the Reign of Fire Guildhall. You should come to those guild meetings unless you are at Clockworks. Guild Meetings can only be called by the Guild Master and the Senior Officers. This rule mostly concerns officers who are part of the Guild Government. Omega-Shadow-Death can also call Guild Meetings even though he is not a Senior Officer. They must have something to do with the Guild Newspaper and will mostly concern info on content.

Guild Ranks

To start off, when a member has joined Reign of Fire, they automatically receive a promotion from Recruit to Member. To become a veteran/officer you will have to come to an interview with one of the Guild Masters or one of the Senior Officers. They will inspect you on three things. These are:

The Current Equipment you use
Why You want to be a veteran/officer
What would you do to help the guild

If they think you have passed that interview then you will become that rank. The Rank can also be obtained if you are handpicked by an officer or Guild Master because of the way you play in Clockworks. At the moment, the officer rank is full but there are still several places to become a veteran.

Guild Alliance

The guild is willing to form a guild alliance with other guilds. We are a friendly guild and are able to find ways of improving several guilds via a guild alliance. Here are a list of guilds that Reign of Fire has associated themselves with:

Clockwork Runners : Founder, Charlietrooper
Knights of Bervernia: Founder, Egoblaster

Guild Admissions

The Guild usually reaches 100 but if you do want to join then please speak to Theoncomingfire to put you on the guild waiting list. You will then be mailed or sent an invite to tell you if anything has changed. If you are in a joint Position, priority will go first to friends of the Guild Master. If that is not available then it will go to the more skilled or better knight. The guild is only looking for promising knights and will not accept inactive knights. We only accept Tier 2 and Tier 3 Members

Guild Lottery

The Guild Lottery occurs once every month. Theoncomingfire will call a date to when it will happen and will be mentioned on the guild Newspaper. The Guild Follows GMT Time and will happen at a specific time then. To enter, pay 25 crowns to Rof-Lottery-Man and he will collect the crowns. Theoncomingfire will take your name down and you would have entered the guild lottery. You can buy up to 20 tickets. The next guild lottery is on Monday 16th January 2012

Guild Newspaper

We are currently preparing for the launch of our guild newspaper, "The Fortnightly Flame". This newspaper will be put on the wiki page on the 1st and 16th of every month, starting on the 1st of January 2012. It hasn't yet been released and is still taking ideas in but it will include sections on :

Content

Shop (where you can advertise items you want to sell for 200 crowns)
Events (Guild raffles etc as well as birthdays etc)
Strategy (Contains a tip for easier combat)
Q & As (Will have reader submitted questions and will be answered)
Charts (To show who got the most crowns,levels done, Lockdown games played,blast network games played within the last 7 days. As well as if our guild has got into any rankings)

If you are top on the charts you will receive a prize of 500 crowns.

I am now updating the newspaper after lots of file sorting when I got my laptop back, going to combine the 1st of January and the 16th of January editions. Please can you tell any players to look here for the newspaper. Thanks! ~O-S-D

Also an error has happened and the Fortnightly Flame and the Guild Members list has become one box. I don't know how to fix it so can someone please fix it. I have saved the entire of the Fortnightly Flame onto Microsoft Word so I can revert it back to it's original state.

Fortnightly Flame

Intro

Hey guys and welcome to the first edition of the Fortnightly Flame! *Trumpets toot in the background* First an explanation is required about the newspaper.

Explanation

The first one was meant to be released on the 1st of January but due to hardware issues I was unable to upload the newspaper. I had to give in my laptop for it to be repaired on the 10th and I picked it up (fixed) on the 14th. I, literally, spent an entire day sorting out my personnel files and checking everything. Then I had an idea to combine both, the 1st and the 16th newspapers and create this.

Not all features will be filled in and the design may look a little rough but I will gradually improve. Now that that's out of the way, I have used the help of some of you and thought myself and come up with several sections for the newspaper that I will do a little section on. Please read the "How to read" it's not what it sounds like, it will just give you a brief explanation of the sections lower

This is just going to say how to read the sections lower

what is on top of the line is an telling you what the section will include

What is underneath the line is the actual content of the section

IGEs

In Game Events

Basically anything cool that our members or our Guild as a whole has achieved, whether it's getting number 9. on the top 10 Guild at Lockdown ( I wish) or "Insert player name here" has done "Insert Boss name here" for the first time, whatever it is, however lame it sounds I will include it.

Nothing much as I haven't been given much information from you guys.

As always the Guild raffle is on, just contact the Rof- Lottery-Man.

Shop

Exactly how it sounds.

If a player in the Guild wants to sell a item whether it is a recipe, minerals or a weapon just tell me and i will include it here so that it will be advertised to the entire guild. Remember you must include whether it is bound or if there is an unbinding price.

Eg. Selling Divine Avenger, 500,000 Crowns, have to pay half unbinding price, Charge Time Reduction Medium

As again nobody has told me anything they want to sell.

Q & A

Question and Answer

We will have reader submitted questions and answers that will have a multitude of approaches so that you will find the answer to your question however you want it.

As no questions have been submitted I will make up some on my own.

Q1. Is Vog better then Skolver, I know Snarby is out of the picture.

A1.1 It all depends on if your swords are hitting for too little damage or if they are too slow. Vog is better for slow swords while Skolver is better for quick swords but it all depends on what you want.

A1.2 Depends on where you are using it, Vog is better for FSC (Fire Storm Citadel), while Skolver is better for general use.

A1.3 Remember that Skolver Coat and Divine Veil give you the best all round protection in the game.

As always the forums will probably have the answer but I will provide a range of opinions.

Chart

This section will have rankings of: the most Lockdown levels played, the most Blast Network levels played, the most coins earned and the most Clockworks levels completed. All within the last 7 days.

The info will be taken on the day that the newspaper will be released and if you are number 1 you will get a reward of 500 crowns in your mail.

As my equipment and ability to get coins rises the rewards will get higher.

The charts will start next edition.

Strategy

This section will contain a tip to help you fight in the Clockworks.

If you are using 2 weapon slots, try and always maximize the damage you can cause.

Use 2 different types of damage, for eg. Elemental and Shadow. Therefore you can deal strong damage against 4 types of monsters and medium damage against 2 types.

I found this link and it contains some very interesting stuff about new developments. Nick certainly has been busy with new missions, some sort of campaign, "Year of the Dragon" what could that mean?. And they are also finally remaking weapons that weren't very good or were outclassed by other weapon, better.
