Scorchers are the slower, and in later tiers, bulky [[Gremlin]]s found in the Clockworks. Like their Gremlin cousins, the [[Demo]] and [[Thwacker]], Scorchers will use [[Pickups#Health Capsule|health capsules]] to continue their burning pursuit of intruding knights. Gremlin Scorchers are a type of monster found in the Clockworks.

Traits

Scorchers are the slower, and in later tiers, bulky Gremlins found in the Clockworks. Like their Gremlin cousins, the Demo and Thwacker, Scorchers will use health capsules to continue their burning pursuit of intruding knights. Attacking with a flamethrower, these gremlins have no fear of a knights projectiles and will continue to set the level ablaze. In addition to playing with fire, Scorchers can shoot their own slow-moving bullets. In tier 3, they gain the ability to unleash an incinerating wave towards their opponents.

Strategy

  • Unlike most Gremlins, Scorchers do not attempt to dodge gunfire. Attacking from a distance can give you much more room to dodge incoming flamethrowers and projectiles.
