When crafting and item, you may get a randomized unique variant where the item has an added bonus. There is no way to choose a unique variant. If you have one and are using the item to craft an item of the next star level higher, there is an option to keep your unique variant.
These bonuses appear apart from, and are not affected by, other bonuses that come with the normal item.
Weapons
In general, any weapon can have one of the following two basic possibilities; each possibility varies in size and target:
- Attack speed bonus (low --> ultra)
OR
- Damage bonus vs [construct, gremlin, fiend, beast, slime], [low--> ultra] - pick one family and one boost size
For example, a Striker can have "attack speed increased: high" or "bonus damage vs beasts: moderate," but not both.
Armor
Each armor can have:
- Bonus damage protection from [normal, piercing, elemental, shadow]: [low --> ultra] - pick one damage type and one boost size
OR
- Bonus status resistance against [stun, freeze, sleep, poison, fire, cold, shock]: [low---> ultra] - pick one damage type and one boost size
For example, a Wolver Cap can have "bonus protection vs shadow: moderate" or "bonus freeze resistance: low," but not both.
