This page is recommended for advance players who have gotten to at least 3 Star or higher.
Curse is one of the hardest ones to master, but is super efficient. It causes your opponent to harm itself every time it attacks. If it attacks, it hurts itself, if it avoids attacking, it's a sitting duck.
Basic Curse Weapons
You will have to find a replacement weapon, because there is no beginner weapon! The lowest star sword for curse is at 3 Star, the Sealed Sword, which you need 20 Jelly Gems to get it, which means beat the Jelly King about 7 Times! (About 3 Tokens per kill, 3X7=21) Once you do get that sword, upgrade it to Faust, then Gran Faust.

Basic Curse Armor
Let me just get this out, there is no shield that protects against Curse, so you can choose any shield in your desire. However, since monsters that inflict curse (phantoms) are usually coupled with shadow damage, it's ideal to have a shadow resisting shield.
Luckily, Curse Protection Armor isn't nearly as hard. Most Curse Protection armor is 3 Star, but for 2 Star help, go with the Magic Cloak and Hood, because their 5 Star form, Divine Mantel and Veil, do protect against curse.
3 Star Equipment gives you 3 Choices for Armor. Angelic Raiment and Helm protects against curse, but isn't the best idea in the long run. There is the Gunslinger Slash and Hat, that goes into Deadshot Mantel and Chapeau, but it won't really do any good until you get to 5 Star. The last choice is the Drake Scale Mail, but not the Helm. The Drake Scale Mail can go into Silvermail, but, it doesn't have a Helm to go along with it. Of course, you always can make your Magic Cloak and Hood into Elemental Cloak and Hood, but like Gunslinger, it doesn't do much good until 5 Star. My advice is to go with the Drake Scale Mail and for a Helm combine it with Elemental Hood, so you would gave Scale Mail and Elemental Hood, and upgrade them. (See Chart Below.)
Now listing the paths, because after that advice, just upgrade depending on what you choose.
