Code of Conduct

Maturity

We are a mature guild, this means that everyone from the "40 year old kid" to the "13 year old adult" are welcome as long as maturity is a strong suit for you. We are not nor ever will be your babysitter. Maturity is in the way we relate and communicate with others: useless spamming, childish demands or items, money, energy or help with a mission (yelling in guild chat or constantly saying "HELP ME! even though you can clearly see the people who can help are already busy) you die in a run and constantly yell "(your name) NEEDS HELP!" "Rev me" "I'm dead" "Needs Help!" (We know, we're coming, RELAX) and other forms of theatrical demands for attention are considered unacceptable. Finally, it is to be understood that if you have an issue or a problem regarding the guild or one of it's members, you can ALWAYS talk to a GM. We are open to feed back but, trying to make the grievance public and "stirring the pot" won't be tolerated. Note: this also includes guild "rage quits", leaving the guild as a form of protest, this way you'll have you final moment of glory; it will be just that, FINAL. If you do not match our maturity requirements, even if your knight has all the best equipment, we are not the guild for you.

  • Harassment and bullying will NOT be tolerated, report any incidents to a GM. If you are having trouble understanding someone please, refrain from thoughtless comments that may hurt or offend that person.
  • If you have a conflict with another guild member, you are expected to settle you differences in a civilized manner. If it begins to turn into an argument please contact a GM so we can get this problem solved. We don't enjoy kicking people from the guild.

Respect

We mean an all encompassing respect. Respect amongst each other in our guild is very important. Also, respect to everyone in the game; even our enemies deserve respect, we are not uncivilized people, We are Scarred Divinity and if we intend to rule we should behave as such. Lowering ourselves to common levels of disrespect will be frowned upon as they dishonor our guild. Lastly, we demand respect for different nationalities, play styles, new comers, seasoned players, casual players and hardcore players. We are all in this together and our differences make us stronger in unity.

  • Beggars and Freeloaders are not welcomed. Anyone who takes advantage of our generosity will find their stay with us, a short one. Don't expect more than you give. NOTE: Scamming is 100% not tolerated, you will be kicked immediately.
  • You are encouraged to post your items "for sale" in guild chat; this does not mean spam! If a guild mate whats to purchase your item, give them a fair price. SELLERS- It is not unreasonable to ask you to sell your recipes at Basil prices. Remember, the buyer may have something you want someday and you'll want a fair price. BUYERS- If you want people to continue to sell to you it is polite to "tip" them what you afford to should your gratitude.
  • Uphold the honor of the guild at all times. Your actions can and will affect the reputation of the guild. Should your actions affect us negatively a GM will speak with you. If your bad behavior continues you will be demoted, followed by being kicked from the guild.

Generosity

Once you have been accepted into Scarred Divinity, you have also accepted to become part of something bigger than your personal concerns. We don't discourage individual goals, we want to foster an environment where people help each other towards these goals. The way to achieve this: generosity and we don't mean charity. Helping others with missions, advice or recipes. Working together to make all of our members shine in their own way; so everyone can keep their individuality but, it's enhanced by the collectivity. By joining our guild you vow to make yourself bigger and stronger than you could ever stand on your own. We want to build a guild that we can all be proud of. Scarred Divinity, an empire that will have all our names on it's building blocks. Boasting of brotherhood, strength, and honor.
