Guild Summary: I created this guild after being members of a few other guilds and finding that they had an elitist attitude, meaning if you didn't have all the best gear, you were not welcome. So I created Tectonic that welcomes noobs and pros.
How to join: Tectonic is open to anyone that can speak English and has some level of maturity, a friendly and helpful manner and enjoys chatting and the social aspect of Spiral Knights as much as simply "grinding" in the Clockworks. I have set a minimum of having a full 2 star set of gears to prevent people joining that find they don't like the game and leave, taking up space that other members could be using. It's not hard to get a 2 star set. If you play daily, you can acquire it in 2-3 days of play.
Guild rules: Respect, team work, being helpful to other members are all fundemental elements of Tectonic. Swearing, abusing, dis-respecting other members will usually result in instant removal from the guild, regardless of rank.
Ranks and how to acquire them: Everyone joins as a recruit.
To be promoted to Member: Survive to level 18 in the Clockworks OR acquire a full 4 star set of gears.
To be promoted to Veteran: Defeat Lord Vanaduke OR acquire a full 5 star set of gears.
To be promoted to Officer: There is no direct path for this position. Officer can only be offered by a Guild Master. Officers must be mature, a Veteran in the Guild, seasoned players, and have shown to be helpful to lower ranked members, i.e. answering questions, raising moral within the guild and be regular/daily players. They must also be willing to offer relatively low CR value items (1-3K cr) items as prizes in random competitions that the Guild Master/s create.
