Icon Map Unknown.png About The Imperial Machine

The Imperial Machine is a close-knit, exclusive guild. The guild functions as more of a friend ring, rather than a large scale guild. The Imperial Machine started off as one of Hoodedskeleton's ideas when he was helping out his companions in mid November, 2012. He discussed the idea with Garagara and it was decided then that Hoodedskeleton would be the Guild Master, since he had the most experience; however, it was also decided that he would pay for all the costs of its construction. His first order as Guild Master was to find more members, and that once the guild was at four members he would create it. The fourth member was found, and on December 12, 2012 at 12:12 am The Imperial Machine was born. (Screenshot can be found below)

Gate-Robo Rampage.pngPurpose of The Imperial Machine

The Imperial Machine's main purpose is to be a group for close friends to be able to adventure more easily. It works much more like a small club, and there are NO intentions for The Imperial Machine to grow large. However, The Imperial Machine is not only for the members to use. If any of the members have outside friends and would like The Imperial Machine to accompany or assist them, the guild will by all means try to help if possible. The Imperial Machine will be home to its members, but help knights everywhere.

Gate-Fear-The-Dark.png Rankings

Ranks will be assigned by any of the Officers unless otherwise stated. The ranking system is as follows:

  • Equipment-Proto Sword icon.png Recruit

Recruits are knights who have just joined the guild, and have yet to gain Tier 2 clearance. Recruits have very limited privileges, and are not yet allowed to host any events, partake in any voting for guild matters, or attend guild meetings. This rank is also used as punishment for misbehavior.

  • Equipment-Calibur icon.png Member

Members are knights who have gained Tier 2 clearance. Members have much more privileges than Recruits. Members are allowed to partake in voting for most guild matters and attend guild meeting; however, they cannot host any events, will be left out in certain guild matters in voting and meetings, and are not allowed to promote or demote any knight.

  • Equipment-Cold Iron Carver icon.png Veteran

Veterans are knights who have gained Tier 3 clearance. Veterans have practically all the privileges that are not Officer related. Veterans are allowed to host events, partake in all voting (Except council polls), and attend guild meetings (Except council meetings). Veterans, however, are NOT allowed to promote or demote any knight. As a Veteran, it is highly encouraged to not mistreat the lower ranks as this will result in a temporary demotion as punishment.

  • Equipment-Lionheart Honor Blade icon.png Officer

Officers are knights hand-selected by the Guild Master or council-voted to run important matters of the guild. Tier clearance is not taken into account for Officers. Officers are given the same privileges as Veterans, but are given the duty to serve as a council for very important guild matters. They also will generally lead expeditions if the Guild Master is not present. Officers are the only rank besides Guild Master that may promote any knight and may demote any knight if proper reason is given. If any Officer is seen as corrupt, it is encouraged to report their misbehavior to Hoodedskeleton and a trial by the council will be held to determine if demotion is necessary.

  • Equipment-Crown of Summer icon.png Guild Master

The Guild Master is a rank held typically by only one knight in the guild. The Guild Master runs most of the guild, and is the appointed leader of the guild and its operations. The Guild Master has any and all privileges that can be thought of, and as such is a very important position to hold. There may be multiple Guild Masters if the guild is chosen to run in some sort of co-leadership. The Guild Master may be impeached by any Member or higher rank in the guild if found to be corrupt, and a trial will be held by the council. If found guilty, a new Guild Master will be selected via poll for Members and higher. If found innocent, the accuser's punishment will be decided by the Guild Master. As a Guild Master, they MUST agree to these terms. As of December 12, 2012 the current Guild Master is Hoodedskeleton, the founder of The Imperial Machine.

Equipment-Static Flash icon.png Miscellaneous Titles

  • Hoodedskeleton is the Interior Designer for the Guild Hall and General Event Planner
  • Garagara is the Treasurer for the guild

Gate-Clockwork-Fiend.png Exploration Operations

Any exploration of the Clockworks conducted by the guild will follow these basic rules:

  • The party leader must be a Veteran or higher rank
  • It is HIGHLY recommended, but not required, that an Officer or the Guild Master to attend most explorations
  • After finishing an exploration, the results must be reported to the treasurer Garagara
  • A 5% tax (Or more if under punishment) will be taken from every member's profits gained from an exploration. This will be put into the Guild Treasury and will be used to pay for upkeep and improve the Guild Hall.

Gate-Terminal.png Rules & Joining

Rules

  • No begging will be tolerated
  • Foul play or grieving will not be tolerated
  • Spamming the chat is forbidden
  • Failure to pay tax will result in immediate demotion
  • Exceeding any of your rank's privileges (Primarily promotions and demotions) is not allowed in any form
  • Excessive disobedience from Officers or the Guild Master will be punished

Punishments for breaking the rules include temporary demotions, increased tax, or any other punishments decided by the council or Guild Master.

Joining

  • The Imperial Machine is a very exclusive guild, as such it is recommended not to ask to join. If you are deemed worthy to join, one of the Officers or the Guild Master will ask you to join. Unfortunately for most, this means there is a generally low chance to be qualified to join.
