Rules

These Rules MUST be followed! If you do not follow the rules listed below, action will be taken as soon as possiple!

1. Have fun. We are all here to enjoy our time playing and we need to understand that we all have the right to have fun together.

2. Be respectful. There are a multitude of diverse people with unique personalities, beliefs and values; as such, we must respect each of our differences. This means that when disagreements occur, we need to respect those we disagree with, and those that don't want your disagreement in their leisure time. We also need to remember that our actions in groups reflect on the whole guild, thus we need to be respectful in pickup groups.

3. Work together. We are a family that are here to work together to experience the best content we can. Be a team-oriented player.

4. Be active. As a guild, we require that you log on atleast once a week, if you are not able to do so, please message a Guild Master.

5. Do not ask to be promoted. We will NOT give away promotions. If you are caught asking to be promoted you will be directed to this page.

Only the founders are allowed to modify, add, or delete these rules at any time.

Story Line

2013. Ten years ago, it seemed like just another year, just another lump of numbers set to tell us how long we had been alive since the supposed Christ walked the Earth. Cars ran on way too expensive gasoline, all kinds of music filled the radios all over- and hey, some of it was pretty bad, but it was still music. And, yeah, humans cut back and destroyed the earth, slowly but surely, hacking away at greenery to put in yet another apartment complex and parking lot in a time of fiscal insecurity, but it was all we knew back then. We were safe in our stupidity, safe from everything that we knew of- which, in the end, was next to nothing. But still, we felt safe. None of us really expected the virus to hit, nor for it to spread like an uncontrollable wildfire. Recruits, Members, Veterans. . . they suddenly turned furious, their eyes glazed and their hunger for the flesh of another unsated. The news called the virus ‘Black winter Knights', explaining between terror broadcasts and brief news time frames that, when a human being comes in contact with cordyceps fungus spores, it takes away their higher brain function (and with it, their humanity). The Infected become hyper-aggressive, lashing out at any live person around them- and if that person survives the assault, any bite will turn them into yet another Infected. Those who are bit are known to lose their minds in as little as a few hours to as long as two days- but never once has anyone survived the virus any longer than that. In the first week, whole cities, capitals, fell to the virus. With it, fires and looters. People lost their minds to fear, no longer trusting a soul, thrusting guns into the faces of people whom they’d trusted since birth and ignoring the pleas as they were pushed into an onslaught of Infected. Thieves and murderers littered the neighborhoods, taking as they pleased, killing as they would, doing as they would, and soon the streets themselves were flowing with the blood of innocent and Infected alike. Even as the government quickly attempted to create quarantine zones, groups of ill wills joined together- and, as such, Officers were deployed and given militaristic jurisdiction, taking control to try and keep those in the QZ safe and secure… even if that was the last thing they felt like. Soon, walking outside of your home after the nine pm curfew was just as dangerous as walking outside of the walls. Five years ago, only one anti-government militia group decided to stand against the Officers- the Fireflies. “Look for the light.” And although they are fighting a losing war against the military, whom they view as tyrants, the Fireflies are one of the few organized groups still searching for a vaccine for the cordyceps brain infection, even after all hope has been lost for it otherwise. Morale has been dropping with every year a cure hasn’t been found, and the military has begun hunting down all active members to make an example to anyone else that dared do the same. After starting the overthrow of some quarantine zones, namely the overthrow of the Pittsburgh QZ, the military has been known to conduct public executions of those who are thought to be a Firefly. We join a group of people who, through the streets, have heard whispers of a quarantine area just outside of Alaska, and that the Anchorage QZ has been virtually untouched by the spores, and that the military has been lax and friendly. The talk soon mentioned a possible break out from the San Diego QZ, and how the group is to move out from a certain downtown building that can see just beyond the walls. Maybe you’ve been a part of the Fireflies, looking for a way out of a group that seems to be doing nothing except making enemies. Maybe you’ve never touched a weapon in your life, but you’re just yearning for a life without the military watching just over your shoulder. Maybe you were just hired by an outside influence to mark the way. Fact is, you want out of San Diego and away from the life you’ve come to know, and you’re willing to walk thousands of miles to get there.
