Totem Poles are the status indicators behind a gate in the arcade.
During construction, they indicate which blocks have been placed by gate construction, as well as indicating the relative amounts of minerals by the height of the 5 bars of color.
After a gate opens, they have a color representation of the floor types, and a width indicating the number of levels at each floor.
