UV data?

I was wondering how to read your data on the UV's. Does No UV mean how many fails out of 10 or something?Sshs 07:57, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Sorry for the late response. No UV simply means an item was crafted and it didn't give a UV.

Yep, just on my talk page is fine

I'm the main wiki Game Master, so my talk page is the admin noticeboard really. If it's something that you think is a true wiki emergency, you can leave a note on my talk page and submit a support ticket about it. --Equinox 20:58, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

AAAAGH! This place is so backwater XD....but in a way, cosy, since the wiki is more personal. I like it :3 --HexZyle 01:00, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
If you're looking for enormous piles of strict rules, vast numbers of editors, and huge masses of admins, you can always go try to make edits on Wikipedia. --Equinox 17:35, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
That place scares me. Too many smart people who could beat on me should i say the wrong thing. In these themed wikis, we share a general interest, so it's easier to get along. I dont think i could ever make a place for myself on wikipedia. --HexZyle 01:03, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Re: Purring Cap removal

A few reasons:

1: It was mixed in with the 3*s, it should have atleast been placed with the 5*s.

2: It was never really "in the game", just used by Clotho. Hence, you could say that about the Magikat Hat, but it was in beta, if I recall right.

3: Think about it this way, you don't really see other GM helmets in there, do you?

Sorry for any incontinence, just doing my wiki duty. --BigFootM

re; Dark Retribution

Ah my apologies, in my attempt to add in the alchemy table I might have reverted your edit. No, it was not intentional for me to change the damage values. Sorry! -- User:SvenL

Minor edits

It would help if you could mark your edits with "This is a minor edit" at the bottom of the edit screen. This is especially useful when doing a lot of mass editing. Thanks. Also, taking a look at the new categories, it would have been better to make them more descriptive like "Military color-themed". --Equinox 13:45, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Gear themes

I have gathered themes for most armours/helms some time ago and posted it on forum. Please don't hesitate to use those info if needed.

Re: GM Wiki Project

Saw the note you put on my page about my unfinished GM armor project. Yeah, I just dont have time anymore to be working on it, with about 3 other things I've committed to on the internet as well. I see that some images are missing, so perhaps if we could get into contact, I could find a way to send you the images of all the GM armors and helms. Hope you can finish the project!

GM stuff move

Deleting some of the old redirects, I've noticed that some of the alchemy path links/names are wrong on the GM item pages. Please fix those whenever you've the time. Thanks! --Equinox 20:59, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. I'll go check through that stuff now. --HexZyle 02:34, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

unsigned comments

you can use {{unsigned|User}}--Trying 03:41, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

I was practicing fiddling with templates. That template also doesn't support date stamps. --HexZyle 03:43, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Categories

They are added with [] brackets not {}. --Lithium31337 17:01, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Thanks. I completely derped out and forgot --HexZyle 17:36, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Lumber Edit

Oh nice to see this editor around the wiki again. Anyway, if you're curious, we've got a Category:Allusions thing goin on, courtesy of Jdavis. Seems related to your recent edit ^,..,^ -Novaster 04:00, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

I'm going to interpret this as a "stop being lazy and actually complete that edit rather than just removing it" so that is what I'll do xD --HexZyle 14:14, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
<3 nawww. Looks good. Going to take out "Trivia" and replace with "Notes" (Forum about dat). -Novaster 15:42, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
Okay. I'll keep that in mind for future edits. --HexZyle 02:12, 22 November 2014 (UTC)

Obsolete Edit

Just to make double sure, I just dragged an alt to the rescue camp to search for Quince. His beautiful face is not there. I just did that to make sure the tag wasn't idly placed on his page like "oh you can't reach him after you get to Haven so that makes him obsolete blahblah" no, he's actually removed, with nothing showing in Release/all that I can find, gone with the wind beyond the mysterious beyond and perhaps even beyond Bedbath and Beyond. This doesn't really pertain to the matter at hand though, I just felt like being sad about Quince:

What do you think should be done regarding obsolete items? I am in favor of lobbing them into an Obsolete museum and making sure they don't clog up searches anywhere, category, lists, or other things. I just sort of bulldozed a lot of Staff Exclusive and Obsolete pages due to large template changes. These entities were using parameters in updated templates that didn't apply to them at all, so I fixed them. But I am also a bulldozer sometimes. I've been trying to encourage the use of category searches (so useful! but people who aren't editors don't really know how to get to them, so I link them whenever possible) and keeping those searches functional would be...good right? I still have to make a nice infobox (part of the Great and Amazingly Boring infobox project) for levels/missions/areas (and update obsolete areas so they don't show up in like, the Geography Category). I always try to get a few opinions besides my own, even after the fact. And you seem to be online? -Novaster 07:12, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

I'm not debating his placement in Category:Obsolete, the edit was focusing on the fact that although he is obsolete, he, and his name is still associated with being a vendor and a stranger. Sure, you could probably say that the former category could be removed as he is no longer an "accessible" vendor (there's no point advertising a product that is not for sale) but as Strangers are characters and thus part of lore, and lore doesn't change, I motion that that category be left on his page, at least. --HexZyle 05:16, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
Hmm. Well, my concern is maintaining functional category searches. I think it's pretty clear what he "is" on the page text (which doesn't need to be reworded to "was" vs. "is" and all that, right? Just freeze the page?). I think something like [[Category:Vendors|obsolete]] (and any relevant categories) would be an okay solution, as long as we maintain a lowercase o, since categories are case sensitive, and pages that start with O are auto capital and will group together, while the lowercase o will sort of stand out and be obvious. I've done something similar with the Category:Guilds with "retired." Run-on sentences. What do you think? -Novaster 07:05, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
