Lichen colonies attacking each other
I have discovered that if two (Giant or Normal)Lichen Colonies come too close to each other, if you can bait one into hitting the other (normal colonies must use their melee) they will fight each other, and not directly attack you. Is this a new discovery, or did I just miss it somewhere else? I have a screenshot as well. Media:Duelinglichens.png --Skelatox 19:15, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
- Well? Did I discover something new, or am I just terribly unobservant?--Skelatox 11:42, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- Late reply: my party and I once encountered something like that. We stood dumbfounded at a distance and wondering why they wouldn't attack us. We suspect that they were trying to merge but it turned into an attack instead. Not sure if that is intentional, though. Saphykun 17:20, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yup, I also saw a Lichen Colony and a Giant Lichen Colony fighting. They didnt manage to kill each other, so I threw a fire vial and got eaten. loljk EDIT:It's prolly due to them attempting to merge, but they would go over the size limit if they did, so the AI switched to another ability. When I saw them dueling, they were alternating between attacks. xPlad

New form of Giant Lichen Colony
Gell reports that the GLCs can upgrade their attack to explosive goo if you let more lichens merge into it. This sounds like fun to do. Who else wants to go out and confirm it? :D Saphykun 17:20, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Quicksilver with spikes??
I was in a mission, I think it was lvl 14 or 15 Clockworks, and I saw multiple lichens that were gray with tiny spikes on their body. I don't see any lichens that match this description. --Sorelooser1
- It's the new jelly look! --Cobalt 03:12, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
- Really? Did they change them? Anyway here's a pic: Quicksilver with spikes --Sorelooser1
- Yup! Tier 2 and 3 Jellies now have spikes and a ranged attack. --Cobalt 06:41, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
