Weather in the planet of Cradle appears to be controlled by mechanics, therefore weather that exists in the Cradle may not be "natural" weather at all. For example, during the Winterfest event, the Haven was covered in a blanket of snow. As described by Sega: "As the planet of Cradle has ticked a few degrees over and ushered in wintertime to the town of Haven, the snow-based festivities have begun: it’s time for Winterfest, which means a blanket of snow, Snipes in the holiday spirit, and ... Impostoclaus!"[1]
It appears that weather can be controlled in Haven by Spiral HQ, but in most cases can be controlled in the Clockworks by fellow Spiral Knights who deposit minerals.
Weather in Cradle can vary from rain to snow to fog.
