Information on Dishly
- Humble Beginnings:
- I am a relatively new West Coast player, having started sometime at the beginning of January 2012. It was my intention to have begun playing this game nearly a year prior by reference from my fellow friend and Knight (Pollyshore), however I encountered a Steam error for an absurd amount of time noting that the game was currently unavailable. With mounting excitement to play a new game, I looked into the error message and found a remedy for it, within the hour Dishly was walking about Haven for the first time without an idea as to what or where any of the important events were.
- After my initial confusion and distaste for the Energy system, I began to understand how your Crystal Energy could be snowballed by use in fruitful Clockworks runs. With this new insight I triumphed my way through the Royal Jelly Palace and Ironclaw Munitions Factory with my ever-upgrading arsenal to meet with Lord Vanaduke in the Firestorm Citadel.
- Growing Up on Cradle:
- After a few weeks of sporadic equipment advancement, I was starting to pull away from the pack of low-gear Knights who would probably end up spending less than a day on Cradle before abandoning all hope. As my gear improved, so did my skill, and I had soon become interested in finding myself a home at a Guild. After having encountered my first and only Guild Husk, I vowed to never join ranks with a legion of sleeping heroes. I quickly relieved myself of the unhelpful and unfortunate consortium of Knights who claimed affiliation to a dying and failed set of Guild ideals.
- Soon after my first encounter with a Guild Husk, I was invited and graciously welcomed into a small, though powerful, family of Knights who nurtured and sculpted the maleable young Knight that I was into a respectable Defender of Cradle. As both my blade and skills became sharper, I readied myself to take my leave from the beautiful family which brought me up. Prior to this, Pollyshore and I had been solidifying our idea to start a Guild on Cradle, and I informed my family that I would one day leave to make my own attempts at starting a prestigious group of Knights. When the day came, Five-Star clad Knight Dishly gave respects to his Spiral Elders, and set out with his brother in arms Pollyshore to bring Knights like they once were, to Fruition.
