Aquilae

Aquilae is based off a Roman Legion. There for there is different terminology. Discipline is a big par t of this

Military Grouping

  • Tirone: a group of four recruits helped by one senior member.
  • Phalanx: a group of eight knights (7 members, 1 veteran) specialized in a specific skill, or weapon,
  • Centuria: a group of five phalanx and two tirones (1 officer, 37 members, 5 veterans, and 8 Recruits)
  • Legion: a group of three Centuria (1 Guild master, 3 officer, 111 members, 15 Veterans, and 34 recruits)


  • Phalanx I: the elite of Aquilae, each member must be a master of a certain skill and weapon.
  • Phalanx II: Streakers/ Gunslingers
  • Phalanx III: Recon/ Sword masters
  • Phalanx IV: Guardian/ Bomb masters
  • Phalanx V: Bomber/ All rounded

Positions

Guild Masters

  • Emperor: Titanator, the founder of Aquilae and the master of all.
  • Legate: Second in Command, Takes responsibility when the Emperor is not present.
  • Tribune: Experienced leaders that are responsible for promoting and demoting knights, almost retired
  • Primus: Commander of a Legion. Responsible for organization of lower ranked officers.
  • Praefect: Leader not directly part of military ranking. Responsible for other sides of a guild. Mainly Tier advancement.

Officers

  • Centurion: Leader of a Centuria. liable for their aspect of the game. ex. Clockworks, Lockdown, Etc.
  • Signifier: Under praefect. One for every two phalanxes. Responsible for their advancement of Tiers
  • Cornicen: under praefect. One for each phalanx. Responsible for passing instructions through the ranks.

Veterans

  • Principal: leader of a phalanx. Responsible for their missions and games.
  • Optio: Centurion's second in command.
  • Phalanx I: elite, experienced, and disciplined knights

Members

  • Tesserarius: a principals second in command
  • Discene: a senior member responsible for training new recruits
