(Added "Weaknesses" & "Resistances" tabs to bosses for more detail(both are blank for now), changed Roarmulus' description & placed a few things here. If I broke anything in this edit, I'm sorry.)
(Need a lot of work, not my best grammar, feel free to improve the description!)

A Boss is an unusual monster that appears in a special location in the Clockworks. There are four main bosses, which appear at the end of each tier. More powerful versions of the four main bosses appear in the Shadow Lairs. There are also various mini-bosses scattered throughout the clockworks.

Bosses are much stronger than other monsters, and defeating them often requires clever tactics, such as disabling the boss' defense before attacking. Most bosses share the same weaknesses and resistances as their monster families.

The four main bosses drop tokens, which can be exchanged for rewards at Brinks. The Shadow bosses drop more tokens than the regular bosses. The mini-bosses do not drop tokens, although some of them offer other rewards.

Notes

  • Icon Map Boss.png Elevators often use a colored icon of this shape to indicate that a boss is ahead. Other areas like Danger Rooms use a similar symbol for important fights. Not all boss fights use this symbol.
  • Currently, there are 18 bosses to fight.
