This makes this list different than other lists like the [[Accessory]] list, but that's fine - different types of items have different properties with lots of different kinds of associated information. Accessories don't have as much information in-game as costumes and other items do, so it's easier to put more accessories onto a single page. This isn't prudent when an item has more information.

:Costumes only have a type if they are not Unique - this means they come in more than one color, and/or are very close to another item, and/or are a sort of combination of other items (like the Polar Wolf Coat comes in Day/Night/Twilight and is a sort of combination of a plate mail and a fur coat). You'll have to decide if such a combination is more of one thing or the other and label it as such. Be sure to include the "other parts" in the notes column so CTRL+F can find it.

A Costume is an aesthetic item. It does not have combat statistics like Helmets, Armor, or other gear. Most are randomly obtained from Prize Boxes.

List

Editor Note Below is an elaborate sortable list. This show/hide contains information about how to use the list efficiently.

Notes

Arsenal icon for costumes.

Once a Costume is bound it cannot be unbound.

Currently, costumes only come in the form of "helmet" or "armor."

Costume items can be "equipped as helmet costume" or "equipped as armor costume" from your arsenal - they're in the ArsenalTab-Costume.png arsenal tab. Armor and helmets with combat statistics can be equipped as costumes from their own arsenal tabs (if they are equipped as costumes, they don't factor into your combat abilities). Costumes have no effect on your abilities in the field. Like armors and helms, many of them have accessory slots. Logically, no expiring costume has accessory slots.

Costumes are often released in commemoration of an event or promotion. Some of them expire (because celebrations come and go), but most of them last forever. There are many costume sets as well as single "hats" and "suits" and so on. Many costumes come in collections of varying colors, such as the Field Cap, or "forms," such as the Scale Helm vs. the Iron Dragon Helm. It can be difficult to find what you're looking for due to this variety, or if you're not sure what something is called, so there are a few pages that organize what's available - navigate to the "See Also" section of this page for links.
