The Cuirass is a costume.

Description
A light-fitting suit of armor that is all business and no pockets.
Notes
This costume was introduced with hunter coloration in August 2012.Admin Post
It is one of several "recolored" costumes. It also seems to be a "popular" design, with many other armor and costume items having a similar shape.
It is probably intended to be in a "set" with the Sallet, based on the shapes of the Volt Breaker gear items.
