A knight laughing in the Haven Bazaar.

Emotes are social abilities, activated by typing a specific command into your chat. They allow you to express emotions and ideas quickly and easily. Sometimes emotes will have associated visual effects, or cause your knight to play an animation.

Another method of producing an emote is by entering /emote, /em, or /me, followed by the action you want your knight to do. Typing "/emote waves to her friends" would produce "(Your name) waves to her friends" in the chat window.

You can access the list of emotes ingame by typing /help emotes.
