Hearts are items that restore one bar of health to the knight that picks them up.
You cannot pick up a heart if you are full.
It is possible to be down a fraction of a bar, and look full; in such cases, you will pick up the heart, and only get a tiny boost to your health total.
There are three heart sizes; small, medium, and large. They can heal you for a specified amount of health:
- Small: 1 bar of health
- Medium: 2 bars of health
- Large: 3 bars of health
