Jigsaw Valley is a set of levels appearing in The [[Clockworks]]. Although it is categorized as [[Construct]], this level contains multiple [[Gremlins]]. Its landscape is similar to the [[Treasure Vault]], with Knights adventuring on a bright and sunny day in a lush, grassy area. The Jigsaw Valley is the main target of a Gremlin lumbering operation, the main focus of which seems to be harvesting the wood from the magical trees native to the valley in order to work on Project R, which likely means construction of the [[Roarmulus Twins]]. Even though the description of Jigsaw Valley states that slimes live here, the preset levels of this area are only home to Gremlins and Constucts.

The Jigsaw Valley is a region. Regions categorize levels with similar characteristics that have been incorporated into the Clockworks.

Description

Appearing to be sky islands ripped apart and put back together again as if it were a puzzle this world can sometimes be confusing to navigate. Unfortunately it also seems to be home to a host of mindless slimes and constructs who do not seem to mind its erratic layout.

Notes

The Jigsaw Valley area has been available for exploration since release 2011-04-04 when the game officially launched.

Each level map is fixed (vs. composed of random segments). When accessible via the arcade, they are usually found in a rotation of 2 levels in the depth they occupy. The level rotation is 1 minute 30 seconds. They are a fairly common sight in arcade gates.

Levels are populated by multitudes of Constructs and Gremlins, despite the gate map description claiming slimes.

Jade Tangle and Jade Tangle II are the only Jigsaw Valley levels in which Brambles are found, perhaps emphasizing "tangle."

Similar grassy terrain can be seen in Aurora Isles levels.

According to lore provided by the 6-1 Interface-icon-PvE.png Mission: Axes of Evil and 7-3 Interface-icon-PvE.png Mission: Beyond the Axes of Evil, levels of the Jigsaw Valley are sites of Gremlin logging operations. The purpose of this activity seems to be harvesting resources for nefarious schemes such as "Project R."

Strategy

A shadow sword will take care of gremlins and is fine against constructs. A bomb such as the Obsidian Crusher or Dark Retribution will help quickly defeat groups of enemies here. Certain levels will have multitudes of Gun Puppies and other enemies spawn across gaps which can take time to get around, so bringing a handgun is a good precaution.
