Gremlin Knockers are a type of monster found in the Clockworks.

Traits

Knockers are quick and diminutive gremlins that wear colored goggles and wield two wrench wands. The color of these match the minerals used to make the theme status, (a Jumper's goggles and wench color are blue and purple, matching the minerals that create shock themed levels). Knockers attack by slamming their wands near a knight and causing an explosion, which can inflicts a status condition and even knock enemies around. Knockers do not appear to belong to any clans, so they do not behave differently further down in the Clockworks.

Knockers do elemental damage.

Strategy

  • The Knocker series are the weakest type of Gremlin, and possibly the weakest enemies in the clockworks. They do not dodge gunfire and have only one attack. To play it safe, one should always assume their attack will cause the largest explosion to avoid being caught off guard.
  • Note that even though the gremlin knocker has elemental variations, these variations WILL NOT inflict themselves with any status effect other than stun if their attack misfires.
