Lichen are a type of enemy encountered in the Clockworks.

Traits

Unlike its cubic cousins, lichens tend to ooze along towards the player. They also move faster than jelly cubes, and some lichens develop a projectile attack in later tiers.

Lichens can inflict normal and piercing damage.

Strategy

  • Defeating Lichens is very simple, but you must keep in mind that when they merge,
  • the resulting lichen has full health
  • the bigger they get, the harder they hit you
  • it may be beneficial to let them form into giant colonies before attacking so you will get increased heat
  • Oilers can catch up to a player if they use their oil slick move, as it propels them forward. Don't let Red Rovers take notice of you when there are still oilers around, you will be in big trouble.
