Locations

Monsters

Equipment

Swords

  • Voltedge's description mentions "1.21 gigawatts." This is a famous reference to the 1985 movie, Back to the Future, in which 1.21 gigawatts of power were required to allow the DeLorean to travel through time.
  • The Divine Avenger's appearance bears a resemblance to Sonic and The Black Knight's Excalibur Sword.

Handguns

Bombs

  • Ash of Agni's description is a reference to the 2012 movie, The Dark Knight Rises. In the film, the main antagonist, Bane tells Batman "Once Gotham is in ruins, then you have my permission to die."
  • The Graviton Charge line's visual design (with the exception of Obsidian Crusher) is a reference to Vaati, an antagonist in the Legend of Zelda series.

Shields

  • Aegis is the name of the shield onto which Theseus placed the head of Medusa, the monster whose gaze turns people to stone in greek mythology. He then gave it to Athena, Greek goddess of wisdom and battle tactics.

Helmets

  • The Heavy Demo Helm's description is a direct reference to the infamous line from Resident Evil, in which the protagonist is handed a lockpick and is told "Jill, here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you."
