The Obsidian Shard is a 3-star material.

Description
A jet-black shard of unnatural stone. Holding it fills your head with imagery of a distant shore where waves crash against rocks that seem to writhe in the chill of the water.
Acquisition
This material is always acquired bound.

Apocrean Sigils during the Shroud of the Apocrea.
Event Mission: Shroud of the Apocrea: Small chance to be rewarded for solving a puzzle in The Grasping Plateau.
Notes
This material was introduced with release 2013-10-23 during the first Shroud of the Apocrea event.
Its description is written in the style of Lovecraftian Horror.
