Lost Souls are a type of monster found only in missions. These small, lifeless orbs spawn infinitely amongst the area, slowly pursuing the player and exploding when they get close.

Lost Souls are presumed to be the spirits of the fallen and could thus be considered to be undead, but they do not technically belong to any family and have no resistance to damage, making them extremely vulnerable.

Strategy

Fighting them is a waste of time as they respawn endlessly and drop nothing. A gun is good for disposing of ones blocking the path, however. They deal a good amount of damage when they self-destruct near you, so keep your shield up when near them.
